Versace Yellow Diamond Perfume – Review
I am sucker for fragrances! Be it essentials oils, scented candles, perfumes or perfumed bath products I always enjoy fragrances. In perfumes, I have had a clear favorite for years now – Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. But I got over my citrus scent phase quite sometime ago only to jump into the floral category. Most perfumes I own these days are floral. One of them that I have used on and off for about 2 years is my Versace Yellow Diamond Eau de Toilette Natural Spray. It was a gift and came directly after the Versace Bright Crystal by coincidence. I just finished using it and thought of sharing my thoughts with all of you!
Product: Versace Yellow Diamond Eau de Toilette

Versace Yellow Diamond comes in a gorgeous glass bottle with a yellow glass lid. The packaging is similar to that of the Versace Bright Crystal but the color scheme is yellow and gold. The outer packaging is also gorgeous and it took me a long time to let go off it (I am a sucker for packaging!). In fact I like the packaging of the Bright Crystal bottle more than this one but I like the gorgeous yellow packaging with gold Paisley print more than the simple white and pink cardboard packaging of the Versace Bright Crystal.
The scent is a nice combination of citrus-floral-musk. The top notes that I smell on me are the citrus notes of Lemon and Bergamot. After a while, I can smell a little bit of the floral notes (Freesia, Pear Blossom, Mimosa) and then it settles into the base notes. I smell more of the musk and amber notes on me.
I know perfumes react to each person’s body chemistry differently so this perfume may smell completely different on other people. But I love how it smells on me. I consider this as a summer and day scent since it is both citrus and floral. I prefer deeper perfumes for night – Woody, Musky, Spicy scents.

I would recommend it to women looking for citrus-floral-musky scents. This is a perfect day scent for summer and stays put for upto 5 hours. I hate to repurchase perfumes since there are so many other fantastic ones to choose from so I might not repurchase Versace Yellow Diamond in the near future.
