I received the Vana Vidhi Oriental Rice Paddy Face & Body Scrub in the May FabbBag. In fact I got introduced to the brand, Vana Vidhi, in May through both MyEnvyBox, where I received a set of 5 mini products from the brand, and FabBag, where I got this scrub. I know little about the brand and I think it is a luxury spa brand that might have entered the market recently. Anyway, today I am sharing my review of this scrub!

Ingredients: Brown rice, Apricot Kernel Oil, Jojoba oil, Olive oil, Grape seed oil, Carrot Seed oil, Lavender oil, Rosemary oil, Peach oil, Sesame oil.
Vana Vidhi Oriental Rice Paddy Face & Body scrub comes in a clear plastic tub with a tin twist open lid. The lid contains the hologram which proves the authenticity of the product. The scrub came sealed but a little bit of the oils had still seeped out so I do not consider this a travel friendly product.
This face and body scrub is really fine and is oil based. It is not very harsh on the skin and the oils make it even more gentle to the skin. When I first got this, I was pretty sure that I would only be using this on my body. However, when I opened it and started applying it to my arms, I realized that is was quite smooth and not abrasive. So I used it on my face. I washed it off and my skin felt really clean and moisturized, thanks to the blend of oils. I think it is gentle enough to be used everyday (if you prefer that, I don’t).
The scent is also very nice, I think it smells like fried rice grains with a bit of soothing scents added. The ingredient list of this scrub is impressive. I really enjoyed using this scrub and totally think it is worth the money.

I am not a huge fan of products that are meant for both the face and the body since I feel that the skin on the face and the body are different; and have different needs. But for travel reasons, I like to find multi-purpose products. However, I enjoyed using this scrub especially on the face as I have dry skin and the oils in this scrub helped my skin stay hydrated and not get irritated (as it usually does after scrub). I appreciate brands that have products with natural and nature-origin products! I give this scrub a big thumbs up.
