Alia Bhatt has been experimenting with her roles and looks a lot these days. Despite being so young, she dons all kinds of looks with equal ease and elan. She has a refined sense of style and I like the fact that she wears clothes her age when she makes public appearances. And, it is always nice to see a celebrity donning a good mix of Indian as well as western outfits. Of course, there are plenty of her looks and outfits that I like but here are the top 5 Alia Bhatt looks and outfits of all time!
1. The All-White Desi Outfit
I have no idea what I really like about this outfit but it sure looks great on her. I do not have the frame to carry it off. The sheer white top with coloured embroidery looks great on Alia’s thin frame and the flowy white dhoti pants complement the short kurta really well. Her understated makeup also looks great with this outfit.
2. Crop Top and Distressed Jeans
Alia is surely rising the chart of Indian actors ranking fast. I did not really pay much attention to her in her debut movie “Student of the year”, but she surely caught my attention in Highway, 2 States, Udta Punjab, and Dear Zindagi. Her public appearances are also something that I like to keep a tab on since she has a nice sense of style and, as mentioned above, wears clothes appropriate for her young age. This distressed jeans and crop top combination look chic on her, and the bare mid-riff sure adds a hint of sexiness to this whole look.
3. The Printed Doodle Dress
One of my favorite looks from her Shandaar movie promotions is this white doodle dress that has colourful prints. This dress actually has the poems and other messages from her fans printed on the dress, I think Shahid even read one or two of them during the promotional event. I think pointy red heels do justice to the whole outfit and being a ponytail girl, I totally love the sleek side ponytail.
4. The Monochrome Bow Dress
Another one of my favorite dresses from Alia’s looks. And it is such a classic colour combination! I love the oversized bow that almost takes over the entire bustier. An apple-shaped person may not be able to carry that but it sure fits her frame. I considered this as a skirt and top combination until I read somewhere that this is a dress. I think she wore this on her birthday last year. Black pumps keep the whole look together even though this combination would have looked great with footwear of any colour, especially red. I have noticed that Alia does not accessorize a lot. Her makeup is understated as usual and the wavy hair goes well with the outfit.
5. The White Lehenga
Alia had worn a beautiful lehenga in the song “Radha” but considering the trend and the outfit, she was not toned enough to carry it off as well she does this white lehenga with her toned midriff now. The color complements her peaches and cream complexion well. White and gold make a killer combination here and blow-dried hair with gold earrings make her look ethereal. Indian outfits are the best!
I also really like the fashion sense of Mouni Roy who plays the role of Shivanya on the popular TV show Naagin. The TV show ranks pretty high in TRP ratings and Mouni also has a huge fan following. She, like Alia, can pull off Western outfits to traditional Indian wear anytime.
