Long time no The Body Shop review? So here is the review of a citrus body butter that I picked up earlier this year. I had actually picked up 4 body butters that day (yes I am a The Body Shop maniac) so the delay in coming to the fourth one is obvious considering I also tested out a few body moisturizers from other brands as well in these months. The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter is also sold under the name of Clementine Body butter in other countries. Okay so let’s jump into the review!

For normal to dry skin
The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter comes in an orange plastic tub which is totally fitting with the product. The body butter is slightly peach in color and has a nice texture which is lighter than many of the other body butter (like Olive body butter) from the brand. The scent is heavenly! This smells of ripe tangerines which is so refreshing to the senses.
The body butter, given its light texture, spreads well on the skin and absorbs fast. It moisturizes the skin well and the effect lasts through the day, or night depending upon when you use it. The scent also lingers for quite a while which is noticeable. Pair this with a citrus perfume and scent lasts all day!
People with very dry skin, like me, might like something a bit more rich than the Satsuma body butter but people with normal to dry skin will love this especially during the hotter months of the year!

I like citrus scents and this light moisturizer with citrus scent perfectly fits the bill except that my skin is too dry for its light texture (light texture when compared to the other body butters). I enjoy using The Body Shop products and I certainly had fun trying out the Satsuma body butter but I will try out other body butters from the brand that are targeted towards my skintype. The next ones I am looking to try out are the Japanese Cherry Blossom and Indian Jasmine. Your recommendations are welcome!
