Hi everyone, The Body Shop introduced a new range of bath and body products recently in India. The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea range includes :

I picked up a couple of products from this range as I love fresh scents. All of these products smell absolutely amazing and I wanted to pick up the Fuji Green Tea Eau de Cologne but resisted myself and got the Fuji Green Tea Body Wash and Body Butter. I have been using them for a couple of weeks so here is the review of both of the products!

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Wash

Claim: Cleanse and purify skin, while detoxing body and soul, with the crisp and refreshing scent of Fuji Green Tea Body Wash. It is a soap-free, lather-rich formula cleanses and purifies skin.

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Wash comes in a clear plastic (recycled) bottle with a silver flip top lid. The body wash has a gel like clear texture and is slightly green in color. It has a very refreshing and soothing scent.

I have used the Fuji Green tea body wash with and without loofah and in both cases it lathers really well and the refreshing scent fills the whole bathroom! This body wash is free from SLS but contains SLES (a milder form of SLS, a foaming agent usually found in soaps). It makes my skin feel awake and clean without making it dry.
I think this scent will be liked by many people since it is not very strong or mild especially in bath products, I mean who does not want to feel refreshed!

I would highly recommend this body wash to all bath and shower lovers. It has a beautiful scent and a gentle texture. I will definitely consider repurchasing this body wash and try out the other products from this range!

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter comes in a mint green plastic tub packaging with a twist open lid. Well, it is The Body Shop standard Body butter packaging; which is also the reason why I will not bring up the hygiene factor of the body butter. This packaging is widely accepted across the world. Anyhow.
When I was picking up these products, I had a body moisturizer in mind and was planning to buy one of the body lotion, body sorbet or body butter. Since I have dry skin, I decided to stick to what works for me and what I always enjoy using from The Body Shop bath range – body butters. So I got the Fuji Green tea body butter.
The body butter is light green in color and has a rich consistency and a luxurious feel despite its lightweight texture. It has the refreshing green tea scent that makes me feel instantly happy (idk why).
It is easy to apply and spread on the skin. The hydration lasts for hours on my dry skin and if I apply it after bath in the morning, I do not feel the need to apply it again at night. The scent of the body butter lasts for a few hours (2-3 hours) after application. I really enjoy using this body butter especially alongwith the Fuji Green Tea body wash!

I enjoyed using both The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body wash and body butter in the past couple of weeks. I sort of regret not buying the Eau de Cologne from the same range, it would have had a greater impact in terms of scent for me. The Fuji Green Tea scent is very refreshing, but is not very strong to actually interfere with my perfume. I still stuck with citrus and other refreshing scents while using the Fuji Green Tea bath and body products.
