I received Thalgo Freshness Exfoliator in June 2014 My Envy Box. Since it was a small size, I kept it for Travel kits but then totally forgot about it. During spring cleaning spree last month, I came across it and decided to give it a go. I have been using it for 3 weeks now and here is the review!

Thalgo Freshness Exfoliator for Normal to Combination Skin comes in a milky white plastic squeeze tube with an ocean blue twist open lid. The packaging looks classy and is travel-friendly. The scrub is white in color and has micro beads which are not easily visible. The scrub has the consistency of a face cream and you only need a little for the whole face.

Thalgo exfoliator does not have a strong scent, it is free from added color and fragrance, but it feels tingly on the skin once applied. Menthol in this scrub gives a cool feeling to the skin but I am not a huge fan of it since it feels like a toothpaste on the skin (the best comparison I could come up with). I like how clean and smooth my skin feel after washing my face with cold water.

This facial scrub cleans the skin without drying it out and is free from sulphates, parabens, color or fragrance. I only dislike the toothpaste type feeling when I am scrubbing my face but I like how my skin feels afterwards.

I liked using Thalgo Freshness Exfoliator since it is not abrasive to the skin, cleans the skin properly by removing dirt and dead skin, and does not dry out my skin. Thalgo is a luxury brand so it is definitely price-y and since I scrub once a week, I will not be repurchasing this in the near future. I do recommend it to people with normal to combination skin. I do not see a reason this will not work for oily skin!
