Everyone has been going gaga over the Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon lipsticks. I got to try the shade Poison Ivy from the brand through my December FabBag. I loved it! And I am so excited that they are launching a new range of lipsticks – Sugar It’s A-pout Time Vivid Lipsticks – soon. There are 4 shades in this range and by the looks of it, these look vivid, pigmented and gorgeous. These are also matte lipsticks keeping up with the Matte lipstick rage in the beauty community right now!

I love how Sugar cosmetics has kept the names so interesting and memorable (named after some of my favorite shows).  These 4 shades, in my opinion, are the lipstick version of the Matte As Hell Crayon Lipsticks.

The above table comparing the It’s A Pout Time and Matte As Hell Crayons looks a bit childish but hey it is practical and (I hope) helpful! I have seen a couple of swatches and I do not think that the shades are exactly the same but will confirm when I review the lipstick. Anyway, one of my favorite Indian bloggers, Dolon from Pout Pretty, has reviewed The Big Bang Berry shade. If the lipsticks are as good as the Matte As Hell Crayon lipsticks (2.8 g for 799 INR), then I would definitely recommend the It’s A-pout Time lipsticks (3.5 g for 599 INR), being more in quantity and less in price!
