Stila Portrait of a Perfect Blush palette – Photos, Swatches and Details

I got a few of the makeup palettes from LOHB (Love Health & Beauty), a drugstore in Seoul sometime ago. I have already talked about my “The Natural” palette here so today I present to you the Portrait of a Perfect Blush palette.

The Golden shade is a satin-finish bronzy shade which can work great to add some colour to the face. I have contoured my face with this since I am not into adding colour to my face and despite a satin finish, it looks ok to me and is a good shade for me (NC35). The Illume shade is a shimmer-y highlight type shade which I have not found a use of yet. It is darker for me to use as a highlight and has too much shimmer to work as a blush. I have added it on top of the pink shades from this palette though.
The Pretty Pink shade is definitely my favorite from this palette. It is a beautiful matte Coral shade that gives the perfect rosiness to the cheeks! The Precious Pink shade is a matte pink which looks good once worn but due to its slightly powder-y texture is a bit of a hassle to work with. The Rosé shade is a satin-finish deep pink (almost burgundy) shade that works well for me but may not work for lighter skintones!
Stila Portrait of a Perfect Cheek Blush palette was originally priced at 16$ but I am sure it was more than double this rate in Korea but in sale I must have paid something close to the actual price in the USA! Anyway. I am happy since I got to try 5 blushes from Stila at the same time. I like 3 of the shades (1,3,5) so its a good deal for me. In my opinion, this palette will work better for medium to dark skintones!
