Sshabav SoyBio+ Fermented Lumpoule – Review

Hi everyone, today I bring you one of the most expensive skincare product I have ever used – Sshabav Soy Bio+ Fermented Lumpoule. It is from a Korean brand and I received it in my Super Luckybox 11 (Memebox). I have a special place of Korea and Korean products in my heart and was having so much fun trying out more Korean brands through Memebox. Memebox stopped shipping to India more than a couple of months ago which broke my heart but there is nothing I can do about it. But I can tell you about a product I discovered through Memebox. Here is the review!

soy bio ampoule
Sshabav Soy BIO+ Fermented Lumpoule

Claim: This “Lumpoule” is a word combining two words – ‘lump’ and ‘ampoule’ – and is basically a facial ampoule made from real Korean fermented soy bean lump. It’ll work to prevent formation of fine lines and wrinkles and also brighten up your overall complexion.
Quantity: 6ml * 2ea (Full size – 6 ml * 14 ea)
Price: $ 170 for full-size
How to use: After toner application, apply 2~3 drops of the ampoule on your face and pat it in for full absorbance.
Ingredients: Organic Black Soybean Seed Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate (Sodium salt of Hyaluronic acid), Propylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Allantoin, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract, Willow Bark Extract, Cinnamomum Cassia Bark Extract / Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Bark Extract, Oregano Leaf Extract, Tea Tree Leaf Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Adenosine, Copper Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Human Oligopeptide-1 / rh-Oligopeptide-1, Disodium EDTA.
One of the first thing I noticed about the SoyBio+ Fermented Lumpoule was the classy packaging of the product. (I am lying, I was perplexed by the name at first and only after recovering from that did I notice anything else about the product). The ampoule bottles made from frosted glass and come with a dropper. The ampoule itself is clear and looks a lot like water. It also does not have a strong scent and absorbs into the skin well.
For the first few days I did not notice any difference to my skin but by the time I finished the first bottle, I realized that this product was not working well for me. It was giving me small bumps on my face. I think I might be allergic to Soy in skincare (the only explanation I can come up with). Once I stopped using this, the bumps cleared up in a couple of days.
I am a little disappointed that a product with such nice ingredient list did not work for me but I am also a little relieved because if it had worked too well for me, I would have wanted it again (and it is too expensive plus there are availability issues)!

I have tried a handful of ampoules before and I think they add that something extra the skin needs once we cross the age of 25. This lumpoule (still cannot get over the name) contains a lot of wonderful skincare ingredients, too bad it did not work for me but I have heard a lot of great things about it from others who tried it! So do check out the samples if you can in case you are interested in this!
