I am a week late in sharing my favorites but with good reason. I decided to participate in the April A to Z blogging challenge so I kept the “Favorites” post for the F day (hahaha). Today is the day of the alphabet F and I have included the things in this post that I reached out for the most in March. I am yet to review a few of these products but I will let you know my thoughts per product briefly.

I have already talked about the It’s Skin Skincell Serum and the L’Occitane Almond Concentrate in my February favorites, so I will not go in-depth but I love these products. L’Occitane products are expensive and I already have a few essence and serums lined up otherwise I would consider repurchasing both of these products!
Innisfree Rose Clear Skin is the first ever ‘toner’ that I am using on my skin. I only use to apply rose water in summer to my skin but I was not regular. Lately my skin has been dry in the lower part of my face (chin and around lips) but a bit shiny and oily on my nose and forehead so I started using this regularly. My skin feels better. I only use this after bath to close my pores. I rarely use this at night. It feels gentle to the skin and does not dry my skin.
Tony Moly Intense Care Gold 24k Snail Cream is my first ever fancy skincare product. As a vegetarian I was a bit skeptical using a Snail cream but once I got that block out of my head (it took me 3 weeks), I like this face cream. I did not Cetaphil much in March only this cream as both my day and night cream. I am yet to publish the review of this cream. It is quite light and gel like, so it may work for oily skin too!
I love The Body Shop bath products so I got the Moringa Body Butter quite some time ago. This is not my ultimate favorite but I did use this everyday in the last 2 weeks of March. I like the smell of the Moringa Shower gel better. This body butter does not feel very heavy on the skin but it takes a little bit of time to be absorbed completely.
I did not go out a lot in March because I wanted to keep my shopping under control and I also wanted to give my skin and nails a break (Explains the lack of NOTD and makeup posts). I did however usually reach out for my IOPE Air Cushion and Etude House Magic Any Cushion – Magic Peach. Both of these work perfectly together and feel like nothing on the skin (weight-wise) and they look very natural. I have blemishes and pigmentation to hide else I would never use normal foundation/concealer on my face 🙁 only cushion products.
The only concealer I reached out for was Etude House Surprise Essence Concealer. It is creamy and moisturizing. It also offers good coverage. It hides a lot of my blemishes and if blended well, does not look cake-y. It is also brighteneing so it is perfect for use in the under eye area.
And to set my (creamy) concealer I use Missha M Sheer Mineral Powder foundation. It gives a little bit of extra coverage and keeps my concealer from creasing. Sometimes when I am in a hurry, I just apply concealer and top it up with this powder all over my face.
I usually do not apply blush but if I do, I like to keep it light and natural so in March, I used my Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush from the set that I received with the Estee Lauder Makeup Artist professional Color Collection. The 4 shades give me choice and different looks to choose from!
I am more into liquid liners but this month I did the Smoky kohl eye look more often. And for that I used my black Maybelline Master liner. It does blends well with a brush and sets a few minutes after applying. I have now used up almost half of it! It is my favorite pencil liner though.
For mascara I am in love with the Etude House Lash Perm 3 Step Volumecara. It gives volume and some length to the lashes and it stays all day even on the lower lashes. I love how buildable it is. It can be a bit difficult to remove though!
I do not like to limit myself for lipsticks so I used 3 different formulas and finishes as my favorites this month – Innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse 4, Nature Republic Botanical Eco Crayon Lip Rouge 6 and L’Oreal Shine Caresse 604 Bella. I think I am finally stepping away from conventional lipsticks!
For my eyes, I created several different looks using the Etude House Play Color Eyes #2 So Chic Play eyeshadow palette. I love how versatile it is and the variety of shades and finishes available in this 10 color palette!
I need a lot of contouring and sculpting to my face but I rarely do it. I feel like it can make the makeup look less natural and more mature. But in March I tried to chisel my features a little using the MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural – Dark. It is so easy to blend and also works well on the whole face for a tanned look. I am not into tanned look so I only use it for contouring!
What are your favorite products at the moment? Which product would you like to try from this post?
