German brands are well known for their quality and I have loved a lot of products from Schwarzkopf in the past, even before I was a beauty blogger. After a gap of almost 2 years, I finally got to try the Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Color Freeze Shampoo. I picked it up at Lakme Absolute salon on the recommendation of my hair stylist after my hair makeover. Here is the review of this shampoo!

Schwarzkopf Professional Bonacure Color Freeze Sulfate-free Shampoo comes in a long white plastic bottle with pink flip open lid. The packaging is non-fuzzy and travel-friendly. The shampoo is pearly-white in color and has a creamy liquid consistency.
My hair stylist had suggested the Moroccan Oil Conditioner in conjunction with this Schwarzkopf shampoo and I picked them both.
While I do not expect shampoos to be miracle workers for my hair, I was looking for a product that would clean my hair without damaging it and also maintaining my hair color. This is a sulfate free shampoo but it lathers well, only issue is that I had to take out more of the product than usual at a time for that. It washed off well too but did not make any other difference to the hair in terms of shine etc. The Moroccan Oil conditioner did that job (and I will be reviewing it in a few days).
I have used shampoos not meant for colored hair and I do think there was a bit of a difference in how long the color lasted by using this shampoo (meant for colored hair). This also contains Titanium Dioxide so I think it also protects hair against sun damage. It also contains added fragrance which is fruity sweet but does not last long after washing it off.

I appreciate that this shampoo is free of sulfates and also helps maintain the color of the hair longer than other shampoos I have used. But still for 725 bucks, I want more and I really want something less pricey to work better for me so I will not be repurchasing this.
