I like my shampoo to be gentle but clarifying but I have never had any luck with natural or nature origin shampoos. I feel like they do not clean my scalp effectively. I have dry hair but I still do not like my hair feel oily after I wash it especially since I oil my hair a few hours before washing it. Most gentle shampoo fail to remove the oil completely so I usually go for a bit stronger shampoos.
This one was no exception, even though I prayed for it to be. I am not too fond of the slight sweet smell of the shampoo and even though it lathers, it fails to impress me with its clarifying properties. I also did not feel like it was conditioning enough for my hair to skip a conditioner or hair mask. The Nature’s Essence Neem & Aloe Vera Deep Cleansing Gentle Conditioning Shampoo comes in a plastic squeeze tube with flip open lid in green. The packaging is basic and because of the squeeze-out property not extremely travel-friendly (in my opinion).
So I kept this shampoo for the days I did not oil my hair or when I needed a break from the stronger shampoo!
