Maybelline came out with a range of eyeliners – ColorShow – quite sometime ago. I picked up the shade Ocean Blue from this ColorShow Crayon line. Most blue eyeliners are deeper and tilt towards Indigo shade more but this one was brighter. Out of all the shades available from the range, this one caught my attention the most. Here’s what I think about it!

Maybelline ColorShow Crayon Ocean Blue comes in a black retractable pen form with color-coded plastic caps. The color is quite vivid and looks beautiful both on the upper lashline and waterline. The pigmentation is not up to the mark though. I have to literally swipe this multiple times to get the right amount of color pay off.
The color lasts a decent amount of time but it does fade through the day. I also faced some crumbling after a couple of weeks of using this. It is a sort of deal breaker for me. So basically the formula is a letdown for me but I love the color though. The rest of the shades in this range did not interest me as much.
Rating: 2.5/5
Recommend: No. I did not enjoy using this eyeliner despite liking the color so I cannot recommend this.
Repurchase: No. I am not sure if all the colors have the same formula but on the basis of my experience and there are plenty of other brands that do good eyeliners so I may not be picking up other shades from the Color Show Crayon range.
