Hi everyone! Today I am reviewing a Holika Holika 36.5 fermentation masksheet. There are 6 in this line: Red Ginseng, Cordyceps Sinensis, Lycium Chinense Fruit, Poria Cocos Sclerotium, Black Berry (cannot find the last one’s name). I am reviewing the Lycium Chinense Fruit masksheet today.

I had never heard of Holika Holika when I bought this masksheet last year at emart, Jukjeon. It was on sale so I got it, I had no idea it was their famous fermentation mask sheets! These masks are fermented at 36.5 degrees to improve their skin care properties!
These are supposed to deeply moisturize the skin, provide collagen and prevent acne!
If I had known these were fermented, I probably would not have bought this because I hate to think of that process! Anyway, the mask sheet has added fragrance (to mask fermentation smell?), contains parabens and mineral oil – three things I do not want in my skincare products. But that aside, it did moisturize my skin and the dry areas around my mouth disappeared after using this. I am sure for long term benefits, I must use these over the course of a few days but with one use, I’d say these are pretty average. I have not used many masksheets yet so I am thinking these are mainly to only deeply nourish the skin every few days.

I would have liked a little more skincare benefit after using these masksheets, and I have deducted points because it contains parabens, mineral oil and fragrance. It is good for travel, easy to use and cooling to the skin. I feel so relaxed after using a masksheet! I would love to try out more Korean skincare products especially masksheets!
