Review: The Face Shop Honey Real Nature Mask

The Face Shop Real Nature Honey Mask Review

I have been using The Face Shop face masks 2-3 time a week since January beginning and I must say that despite being the same range, similar plant extracts and ingredients (except the main active ingredient) each face mask has worked differently. Read my comprehensive review post for details. Let’s discuss The Face Shop Honey Real Nature mask in depth!

Review:
The Face Shop Real Nature Honey mask comes in an individual sachet with a photo of honey dripping from the honeycomb on the front and all the details printed on the back. The masksheet is neatly folded in quarter and needs to be opened carefully.
This mask contains some skin conditioning agents like: Trehalose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phaseolus Radiatus Extract (Mung bean), Betula Platyphylla Japonica Bark Extract (Japanese White Birch), Rumex Crispus Root extract (Curly/yellow dock) in addition to the key ingredient Honey. It does not smell every nice just like the Bamboo mack. It smells way too chemical-ly to my nose.
I used it at night yesterday and kept it on for about 20 minutes. My skin felt nice immediately after using this mask but the effect had vanished in the morning. It did little to moisturize my face 🙁
Honey is so easy to apply directly onto the skin and it is readily available so I would suggest using the real thing instead! Out of all The Face Shop masks I have tried, Honey and Bamboo are my least favorite ones.

Overall, all I can say is that I would prefer The Face Shop Blueberry, Red ginseng or green tea mask over this. I hate the chemical scent. It smells like preservatives and additives have over-powdered the honey extract! This also did not moisturize my skin enough. When I woke up next morning, I had the dry spots I usually have in the morning when I do not apply a sleeping pack or any other deep skin care treatment (dehydrated skin woes)!
