Etude House released two limited edition eyeshadow palettes earlier this month and I was lucky to get my hands on both of the palettes. These are standalone palettes sold for 22000 KRW in Etude House stores and are not a part of Princess Etoinette Collection. I have already done a Swatch post on both of the palettes and reviewed the 01 So Hot Play palette so here is the reivew of the Play Color Eyes 02 So Chic Play palette!
Etude House Play Color Eyes Eyeshadow Palette #2 So Chic Play (shades from left to right)
- Coco Brown (matte)
- Clutch Brown (sparkle)
- Pop Champagne (sparkle)
- French Kiss (matte)
- Misty Rose (matte)
- Diva (shimmer)
- Glam Forest (sparkle)
- Midnight Star (sparkle)
- Sparkling Wine (sparkle)
- Leopard Brown (matte)
This eyeshadow has 1 shimmer, 5 sparkle and 4 matte shades.
My favorite shades from this palette are: Clutch Brown (2), Misty Rose (5) and Sparkling Wine(9)
This palette can help you create more than a few complete eye looks from defining your brow, highlighting the browbone and inner corner, soft eyeliner to eyeshadow and crease; this palette is more versatile than the 01 So Hot Play palette in my opinion. And I do like it slightly more than the other Play Color Eyes palette.
I use Choco brown (left corner) to fill in my brows, French Kiss (4th from left) or Misty Rose (5th from left) as base shadows to even out the skin on my eyelids and take any from the rest of the shades to create different looks.
I like shimmer/sparkly shades and the colors in this palette are really nice so I love it a lot but if you like matte shades more, this palette is not for you! You can try the 01 So Hot Play instead!

As I have already mentioned in my post on the review of the Play Color Eyes 01 So Hot Play palette, I think having both of the palettes is more useful for me to create different looks. 01 So Hot Play has more dark and matte shades for a good smokey eyes while this one has more playful sparkly shades to bring in the bling!
And also that the sparkly shades are very chunky so applying them with a dense brush or fingers is better. And I do my face makeup like foundation and concealing after I finish my eye makeup because there is fall out especially from the sparkly shades even if I am being careful.
