In absence of any new and original ideas for the A to Z Blogging Challenge, I decided to do U and X letters for the challenge with the respective Etude House A-Z I Need You masksheet! Today I am reviewing the Etude House I Need You, Unpolished Rice! masksheet from their A to Z line. I reckon that I could have used a new face mask everyday this month and still finished the April A to Z blogging challenge but that would have been too easy. I have tried really hard to keep the theme beauty related and still cover new topics everyday. For ‘U’ I did not plan ahead so I bought a few things from Etude House yesterday including the Unpolished Rice and Xylitol Forest A to Z masksheets to complete this challenge as I also do not have any theme for the letter ‘X’. There are now only 6 days left from the challenge and I am happy that I am almost done!
Let’s review this mask sheet now, shall we?

Etude House always has the nicest packaging and even for their masks, the prints and colors are so cute. I have already tried and reviewed the Pomegranate, Collagen, Shea Butter, Mango, Pearl mask from their A to Z I Need You! mask sheet line. Check out my post on Etude House A-Z face masks for the packaging of all the masks!
On to the mask, the first thing I noticed was how light the texture of the essence and it was not very runny. Some does inevitable drip while I am unfolding the mask but otherwise, the essence does not run in my hair as much when I lie down (I had a problem with some other mask sheets I have used)! One thing I really liked about the A to Z masksheet is that they fit my face really well.
The mask comes with an added fragrance but the scent was mild and like that of half-cooked rice. Not my favorite scent but it is not very noticeable and hence did not bother me as much. I kept the mask on for 15 minutes but after removing it, I did not notice any visible firming or tightening of the skin. My skin, however, felt really soft and moisturized. I pat the essence until it was fully absorbed and went to sleep (I used it last night).
Now that the weather is cooler and I have been drinking Lemon Juice everyday, my skin is getting clearer. This mask helped remove a couple of tiny dry spots left on my face also healed a red tiny spot on my cheek! I am so happy that my skin is back to how it used to be, winter time is always depressing for me skin-wise. Better days are coming and I have good face masksheets to improve my skin even more.

I deducted a few points in the rating because I thought the Unpolished Rice extract came way down in the ingredient list (plus the mask is scented). I also (with my limited knowledge) think 3 acids – Lactic, Citric and Ascorbic acids – in the ingredient list create a tiny red flag. I need to do more research to see if these are good for the skin! I will continue to try out even more Etude House face masks. Their lipsticks, BB creams and face masks never disappoint me!
What do you think about the Etude House products? Have you tried their A to Z masksheets?
