Review: Etude House I Need You, Shea Butter! Mask Sheet

It took a lot of time to finally start using the Etude House face masks I bought a couple of months ago but I was so keen on using up The Face Shop sheet masks and review them that these kind of took the backstage. I have 5 of these – Collagen, Mango, Pomegranate, Shea Butter,White Pearl and this is the first one I have used from the bunch. Let’s see how the Etude House Shea Butter mask fared for me!

Etude House always has the nicest packaging and since nothing much can be done with face masks, they still came up with cute prints and colors for the face masks! Check out my post on Etude House A-Z face masks for the packaging of all the masks!
On to the mask, the first thing I noticed was how light the texture of the essence was! I expected it to be water-y, just like the ones from The Face Shop sheet masks but it was a little more viscous. The masksheet fit my face really well, usually The Face Shop masksheets are broader for me!
The mask is very lightly scented (added fragrance) but it is not very noticeable! I would love non-scented masksheets more anyday but I did not really mind this scent.
I kept the mask on for 20 minutes as recommended. My skin did feel visibly softer after removing the mask and tapping the essence into the skin. There was not a lot of residue on the masksheet so I rubbed what was left in the masksheet cover on my neck and hands.
All in all, I liked the Shea butter masksheet and I mainly purchased it to support the cause Etude House does with their I Need You products. Last year I had gotten hand cream and lip balm (Owl edition). I love taking care of my skin and isn’t it good to know that I might be helping a cause in the process? And of course the products are good and priced well!

I deducted a few points in the rating because I thought Shea Butter extract came way down in the ingredient list and the mask sheet is scented! But I would love to try out more of these mask sheets (I already have 4 more!) What do you think about the Etude House products?
