Product: EsteeLauder Pure Color Lipstick in Rose Tea #17
Claim: Color so incredible, it leaves your lips wanting more. True Vision™ technology takes ordinary color and makes it extraordinary. In a seductive spectrum of shades, from sublime to vivid. Medium-to-full, buildable coverage. Long-lasting wear. Fade-resistant. Enriched with lip-loving ingredients, including apricot kernel, shea butter and murumuru butter that leave lips soft and creamy smooth.
I received this lipstick in the “Glamour is Golden” collection released in 2010. Until then I did not own any Estee Lauder makeup. And I do not think there even was an Estee Lauder counter at the places I frequented for makeup shopping. I first saw Estee lauder makeup in Sweden and waited till the end of 2010 to buy something (of course the collection was really expensive, but worth it!)
The Glamour is Golden collection came with 4 lipsticks – Pink Parfait, Tiger Eye, Rose Tea, Bois de Rose. I gave the two of them (Pink Parfait and Tiger Eye) and kept the other two – Rose Tea, Bois de Rose – with me. All of these lipsticks came in the limited edition packaging – gold cylindrical twist up tubes.
I love using rich moisturizing lipsticks that are opaque and only need one coat to cover the lips and yet not look ‘caked on’! All of the Estee Lauder pure color long lasting lipsticks are very pigmented and feel very moisturizing to the lips.
They also last for a few hours (3-4) even though they do transfer a bit. The best part is that these are so hydrating to the lips that I skip using lip balms (or forget) before applying these and hours later still have moisturized lips. Re-applying the lipstick after a few hours does not change anything either, they still look fresh and hydrated! These also do not bleed outside the lips without lipliner even though I love using a lipliner with my colorful lipsticks!

I would definitely be trying out more shades from the Estee Lauder Pure Color long-lasting lipsticks!
