I used to love the scent of Amla but since I have been using Parachute Coconut Oil on my hair the most, I used Dabur Amla hair oil in summer. Some time ago I tried the Dabur Amla hair oil again (bought it in a foreign food mart in Korea when I was there), I just casually looked at the ingredient list. I was so surprised!
The first thing is, I expected this to be an ayurvedic good-for-you product since it is from Dabur. But to my disappointment, it contains 40% mineral oil. And for the Amla aroma I love a lot, I found out that it is added fragrance and even the green color is an artificially added color!
So basically everything I liked in this oil, aroma – color – moisturizing properties, come from unnecessary chemicals. I know a lot of skincare products contain these things but this being a Dabur product, I don’t know why I expected it to be all natural, good for you and chemical-free (you know what I mean)

I am not saying that I will never use this. But I am disappointed after this little revelation and I will not use this as often. Parachute coconut oil is way better (95% coconut oil).
