Hi everyone, today I have an interesting makeup tutorial for you. We Indian girls love our kajal so it is only natural for us to find ways to incorporate this makeup product in multiple ways. I like using my kajal as eyeliner, kajal and eyeshadow! One of the kajals I have been testing out these days is the L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique Bold. I love winged liner look so this time I decided to do the reverse winged liner look. It is actually pretty easy to achieve and looks very nice with western as well as ethnic outfits. So here is the tutorial for you!
Products used:
- L’Oreal True Match Genius 4-in-1 foundation
- Maybelline the Magnum Barbie Mascara
- L’Oreal Kajal Magique Bold
- NYX Eyebrow Push Up Br* (eyebrow pencil + highlighter) – EBPB1
- Etude House Play 101 Stick – Contour Duo
- Benefit Cha Cha Tint
- Benefit Corallista Blush
- MAC Lip Pencil – Ruby Woo
- Benefit Corallista Lip gloss
Step 1: Use a primer all over the face and then start by using a simple eyeshadow all over the eye area. I did not use any primer since I was testing out a 4-in-1 product from L’Oreal. So I used the Corallista blush as an eyeshadow. It has a little bit of shimmer and looks very appealing on the eyes.
Step 2: Use a black kajal to tightline and also line the waterline. Then apply a thick line under the lower lashline. Extend the line beyond where the eye ends as if to meet the eyebrow. I like bringing it in to meet the upper lashline at the corner. This triangular shape is the reverse wing look we are going for! (Sharpen the eyeliner for a pointy and sharp edge). You can start from the inner corner for this bold liner look but I left it bare to add highlight. This brings more light to the eyes! I am testing out L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique Bold so that is what I used for this look!
Step 3: Curl the lashes and use a mascara to coat the lashes. For a dramatic effect you can use false lashes. I used the Maybelline Magnum Barbie Mascara.
Step 4: Apply a good satin finish foundation all over the face. Cover any dark spots with a concealer! I used the L’Oreal Paris True Match Genius which is supposed to be a 4-in-1 (primer, foundation, concealer, powder).
Step 5: Fill in your brows and define them. I have been loving NYX Push Up Br* for eyebrows to create sharp brows. I used brown to define and fill in the brows and then highlighted my brow bone using the cream highlight side of this pencil. It is one of my favorite products from NYX!
Step 6: Use a natural peach blush on the apples of the cheeks. I used the Benefit Cha Cha Tint and added a swipe of Benefit Corallista blush for some peachy glow!
Step 7: Define your cheeks with a contour and highlight duo. I used my Etude House Play 101 Duo stick (highlighter and contour)
Step 8: Line the lips using a classic red lip liner and apply a peachy lipgloss. I used my MAC Ruby Woo lip pencil and Benefit Corallista gloss.
Overall I am quite pleased with how this makeup look turned out. What are your thoughts? Comment below!
