Office Lookbook | Plus Size Fashion | Indian Office Wear | 7 Outfits

Hi everyone, I had been planning to share my outfit posts for quite some time now. I do occasionally share outfits when I wear something worth sharing, however, I have not shared my everyday outfits as much. I joined a new job in August and since the dress code was not strict, I decided to have a bit of fun dressing up for office. Since I have a classic sense of style and prefer clean silhouettes (mainly because of my apple shaped body), I dress up simple. I still get some compliments on putting my outfits together so I thought of sharing them with you.
Note: Bear in mind that I work 9 hours a day and travel in public transport (for more than 3 hours per day) so my outfits need to be comfortable and modest as well.
This is one of my favorite type of outfit.  Outfits like these are pretty easy to put together and this is the kind that I go for when I am short on ideas. At times, I go for a dress instead of a kurta and give a modern twist to an Indian outfitt. In my opinion, 109F is one of the first brands to make nice plus-size garments. There are many players now but back in 2010, 109F was pretty much one of the few brands I had to find a good western or fusion outfit from.
AND, 109F and Global Desi are a few brands that I regularly shop for my clothes. Here are 7 Indian (or Indo-western) looks that I recently sported.

Outfit 1: 109F  Teal and Black dress

Dress: 109F

Leggings: Zara

Sandals: Reliance Trends

It may not show but I am wearing a teal eyeliner (waterline) and black eyeliner (upper lashline) to compliment my outfit. When I wear it for shopping trips, I leave out the leggings 😉

Outfit 2: W Pink Kurta

Palazzo Pants: Pantaloons

This is one of the most comfortable outfits I have worn in the past few days. The Kurta has an asymmetrical hemline and I love its bright color. Black palazzo pants feel so airy and comfy 😉 I added the necklace just to bring the whole outfit together.

Outfit 3: 109 F Polka Dot Monochrome dress

Dress: 109F

Leggings: Westside

Shrug: H&M Sandals: Reliance Trends

Sunglasses: Vogue Eyewear

Black leggings would be too obvious and that is why I added blue to this outfit. This dress is sleeveless which I avoid wearing when taking the bus hence the shrug. Otherwise, I remove it when I reach office.

Outfit 4: W Orange Kurta

Kurta: W, Leggings: Westside, Punjabi Jutti: Sector 22 Market Chandigarh

This is my most worn Kurta and I must have worn it once a week since August! I really love the fit, color and length of this W Kurta. I paired it with black leggings since that looked like te best to complement this outfit. I also wore the Punjabi Jutti that I got from Chandigarh (my hometown) to match this outfit.

Outfit 5: W Printed White Kurta

Kurta: W

Leggings: Shopper’s Stop

Sandals: Limeroad

White is definitely the color I wear the least. It is so difficult to maintain white garments which is why I never buy them especially in cotton. However, the colorfulness and print of this W kurta won my heart. Instead of pairing it with black, my usual combination, I pair it with sky blue leggings to create a cool-toned outfit. White studs and turquoise bracelet finish my outfit. The silver flats from Limeroad are so comfy, I wore them to death in the past few months.

Outfit 6: AND Printed Blue dress

I really loved this AND dress when I saw it online. However, the print was too busy for my heavy frame. Since I had invested about 1500 INR or so, I ended up wearing it a lot over summer. These silver sandals are my favorite. They are so light and comfortable, I can walk for hours in them.

Outfit 7: 109F Brown Dress

Dainty jewelry from Swarovsky, Accessorize and Mixxo is what I wear on a daily basis to pair with my outfit. I love wearing a lot of bracelets and a watch on my left hand, leaving the right one bare. I will share a few pics of the accessories soon too.
I hope liked my office lookbook. Now that the winter is officially here in Delhi (we had no autumn or transition, we were sweating one day and shivering the next), I am going to share my daily office outfits on my Instagram (Follow me) and the blog as well. Stay tuned for the Part 2 of my office fashion series.
