I went to visit my family in Chandigarh recently and decided to make the most of this opportunity to shoot some pics for my fall fashion post. The weather is still pretty warm in Northern India but I was dying to do some fall fashion posts so I braved the heat and wore this fall/autumn outfit outdoors.
I love being in the sun especially in the cooler months so I chose the time around noon for this shoot. Even though the colour palette for fall is usually comprised of reds, burgundys, wines and browns I chose the basics – beige and black.
This knit jumper is from ONLY and I got it through Flipkart. I fell in love with the soft lacy fabric, simple weave and the soothing beige colour. I like well fit tops but the relaxed fit was really the USP of this jumper. The weave is also quite chunky so despite being a bit heavy, it is breathable.
As I had mentioned in my Neons and Corals post, I am in love with the Levi’s 312 Shaping Slim jeans. And that is the precise reason that I picked up a pair of black 312’s. For some reason, the stuff is lighter than my blue 312’s but I still like it.
I love comfortable chic clothes and this outfit totally ticks all the boxes for me. It is very basic, easy to style and accessorize. I could have dressed this up with a colourful statement necklace etc but I chose to keep it casual and simple.
To keep the color palette of the outfit, I picked up my Coffee coloured faux leather textured handbag from Limeroad and my coffee and beige wedges from Carlton London. Winter is all about boots and keeping my feet warm so I wear sandals before saying goodbye until spring. These are the most comfortable wedges I have ever owned! I went shopping in this outfit and my sister bought a long chain necklace for me which I am wearing in one of the pics. On my lips, I have the (Oriflame) Giordani Gold Jewel lipstick – Cerise Pink – which is a warm-toned glossy red shade.
Even though I love sunlight and warmth, I am looking forward to the actual autumn and winter in Delhi as I love dressing up in the cooler months. I will be doing a few more fall/winter outfit posts soon!
