One of the strangest things happened today. It was drizzling outside but to get the benefit of cool breeze outside, I left the kitchen window open and went in the bedroom to start working. The window has 18 grills – 6 sets of 3 – and there is a 12 cm space at the top and bottom while there is 7 cm gap between the grills (approximately). Within 10 minutes of opening the window, I spotted a face look at me from the corner of my eye. I shrieked! It went back. I am not afraid of cats per say but never expected it to come into my bedroom through a tiny window! It was my neighbor’s cat and it went way as quietly as it had come. What’s even funnier is that there was sink full of dishes right next to the window. Sneaky cat! So anyway long story short, I am never leaving that window open again. (Anecdote complete)
Onto the product I am reviewing today, I had decided not to review it for various reasons but while chatting with a friend today I realized people need to know what they are putting on their bodies, even if the product is readily available, from a reputed brand and is affordable! I mean Parachute released a range of body lotions sometime ago but I never used one. A few weeks ago my sister visited me and brought one with her. While leaving, she left it for me to try. So here is the review of Parachute Advanced Body lotion – Coconut milk.

Parachute Advansed Body lotion comes in a curvy plastic bottle and the coconut milk lotion comes in a Lavender shade. The packaging is travel-friendly et all but my main point is the bottle has envious curves! I mean it is hourglass, very desirable but also a bit sexist considering the product is aimed for the whole family. But maybe they meant it just for a better grip (?) Anyway.

The body lotion has a normal liquid consistency and is white in color. It smells chemical-ly sweet and does not smell coconut in anyway. It is a pretty basic body lotion for everyday use.
Some of the ingredients on the list are: Coconut oil, Glycerin, Coconut milk (the three that I liked from the list) and Methyl paraben, Dimethicone, Propyl paraben, fragrance.

The body lotion feel moisturizing and rich at first but absorbs fast. The effect, however, does not last as long on my dry skin which is left wanting for more within a mere 2 hours. The product is meant for extra dry skin so I am not sure if other variations in this range will work for me either.
If you are not bothered by parabens,etc. in skincare and are looking for pocket-friendly moisturizers, this Parachute Advansed body lotion may be a good option for you! I am more into their oils and am super excited about the Parachute Aromatherapy oil which I have been looking out for. Overall I think this body lotion is a good value for money! What do you think?
