Oriflame The One Eye Liner Stylo – Review, Swatches!

I am an eyeliner and lipstick junkie these days. I have so many eyeliners in different forms but I still felt the need to go out and order the Oriflame The One Eye Liner Stylo. I got in black. I have a steady hand when I apply liquid liner so I usually have no issues with brush liners. But I still prefer pen/felt tip liners since they are easy to use and take lesser time to apply. I have been using the Oriflame The One Eye Liner Stylo for quite a few days so here is the review!

Oriflame The One Eye liner Stylo comes in a grey sketch pen packaging with color coded bottom. It has a soft felt tip which is pointy and helps create a thin or bold eyeliner look depending upon the angle it is held. I like using it for creating bold eyeliner since the eyeliner is richly pigmented. The color is opaque black and is waterproof. It stays for a good 7 hours on me. It only fades if I rub my eyes (accidentally of course) and it stays better if applied on a primer!
This eyeliner comes in two shades – black and blue. Since the blue shade is deep – Indigo Blue – I decided to get the black one. The eyeliner is of thin consistency so it needs to be applied after holding the eyelid properly or it can travel to fine lines (even on the upper lids). So for a smooth eyeliner look, make sure you do not press it too hard against the skin.
I have enjoyed using this eyeliner even though my favorite eyeliner in this form is Maybelline the Colossal Liner. The Maybelline eyeliner is cheaper (400 INR) and more pigmented than the Oriflame one. There is just too little of the product in the packaging considering the price. If you wear eyeliner everyday, this may not even last you a whole month (my sister in law can testify this statement).

Overall, Oriflame The One Eyeliner Stylo is a good felt tip eyeliner which is easy to apply, richly pigmented and long lasting. The felt-tip is not very sharp so it may not be the best option to create a thin liner (like Maybelliner HyperSharp eyeliner) but it is still good enough for medium to bold eyeliner looks. It dries within seconds after application and stays put for many hours without smudging. It is a little expensive considering other fantastic drugstore eyeliners and the amount of product (just 0.8 ml). This liquid liner from Oriflame is still worth trying!
