Just because it is winter, I bought a bottle of Argan Oil and another hand cream. I just need to see a new hand cream, and I will buy it. I think I should do a hand cream collection post too. Haha! So anyway, I had been searching for Argan oil for a couple of months but never found it.
I have heard that Rosehip oil is a good replacement of Argan oil so I started searching for it and couldn’t find it either. Since I had forgotten about it, I saw Argan oil today (happens to me all the time). They were also selling Rosehip oil. The funny thing is Argan Oil was priced at 10000KRW and Rosehip Oil 20000KRW.
Of course I bought the Argan Oil and plan to use it instead of a night cream or as serum before applying the night cream, it will depend on how moisturizing it feels and if it is good enough stand-alone. It felt really good on my hand when I applied it and since it was labeled 100% Organic, I bought it without a second thought. The ingreidents are written in Korean on the packaging so I cannot verify it, I just believed the sales executive (and it sort of only has one ingredient listed).
The hand cream priced at 3000KRW so I just bought it. I plan to keep it near my wash basin for me to remember moisturizing my hands after washing them. 80% of the time I forget it and my hands are getting too dry. We’ll see if I actually follow through!
Argan oil can be used on face, body and hair so I think it was a good investment. I do have Organix Penetrating oil as a leave-in conditioner so I will use this Argan oil only on my face and hands. I use Body cream for moisturizing my body.
Review:
Argan Oil
The Argan Oil is non-sticky and very moisturizing. I have very dry skin so after a couple of days I realized I need my night cream over this. So I have started using night cream after applying argan oil to my face on alternate days. I do not want it all to become too heavy.
It does not smell strong which is good because I do not like heavily scented (naturally or artificially perfumed) skin care products except hand creams occasionally.
I had not heard of this brand before but it is good (till now) and I have had no issues with it.
For extra softening, I am also using this on my hands and neck at night. Both of those areas need as much treatment, if not more, as the face.

Jasmine Hand cream
This is a pretty average hand cream. I do not like Jasmine scent a lot and since this is mildly scented, I am okay with it. There isnot much to say except that it feels moisturizing to the skin and comes in a travel-friendly compact size. I cannot read the labels so I am sure what all it contains.
