Nyassa Tea Tree Face Wash comes in a clear plastic bottle with black lid and it has a pump dispenser. I have the sample so the packaging is different for me. By the looks of the full-sized bottle, I would consider it sturdy and hygienic but not travel-friendly. The face wash itself is green in colour and has a gel-like consistency. It smells exactly like the Tea tree Essential oil.
My main concern when I started using this facial cleanser was that it comprises of tea tree and green tea which are cleansing but also a bit strong for dry skin. These ingredients work better for oily skin. However, since it is summer and my skin is not extremely dry, I decided to give it a go. Usually tea tree based products are able to clean the skin deeply reducing breakouts and excessive oiliness.
And thankfully, this worked well for my (dry) skin.
This face wash contains added color which is a positive as well as a negative point in my opinion. Positive because it adds to the overall experience, I like the green face wash but negative because it is totally unnecessary. This is a natural product and would have been better without artificial color! To each his own, I would have like it without added color a bit more.
It is SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate), SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulphate) free (basically soap free) and depends on Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate for some lathering action. It does lather rather well and cleanses the skin without stripping it of moisture. It does feel a bit tingly on the skin probably because of the Tea tree Essential oil but I don’t mind it much. I have been using this face wash for about a week twice a day and it has cleared up my skin of a few little bumps on my nose and cheeks. I do not apply it anywhere near the eye or under eye area though.
I am enjoying using the Nyassa face wash but I feel like it will be a bit too much for me in the long run. I will not be purchasing it anytime soon. However, I would recommend it to people with oily skin.

Overall, I am impressed by the Nyassa Tea Tree face Wash. It cleans the skin effectively without making it feel tight and it is a good value for money especially for people with oily skin. Since Tea tree oil (especially essential oil) is a bit strong, I would not recommend this face wash to people with sensitive skin or sensitive eyes. If you are pregnant, I would say consult with your doctor before using any essential oil based products because some of them are not safe during the whole pregnancy or the first trimester. I would highly recommend this face wash to people looking for a good natural face wash which deep cleans the skin!
