As you might have already noticed, I have gone a little nail paint crazy at the moment. My last ‘manicure’ lasted three days without chipping and today I just decided to do something new again. This time it is White base (Organic Farm from Daiso), Glam Nails top coat by The Face Shop and Crystal Base and Top Coat by Oriflame.
The Face Shop like other Korean brands has many more Nail Art top coat option. This one was the most unique of all of them. But I am a little disappointed because of the work that these nail paints require. The brush usually comes out clear with very few chunks of these ‘stickers’.
I have to literally twist and pick up the bits by swirling around them. And then also they remain stuck to the brush. So I have come up with a technique -> Gather all the chucks on the brush -> put all the gooey paint on the tip of the nail -> And apply backwards (toward the root of the nail) -> Set up all chunks with the pointy bits of a bobby pin in desired parts of the nail.
This is not the best of the methods but seems to work just fine for me. I get nice looking nails for at least 3-4 days. It takes me roughly 45 minutes to do the whole thing for both of my hands 🙁 In my opinion, this top coat looks great with lighter base shades since the chunks are in dark colors. I love diamond shape! Hope you liked the idea!
