New Pantene Hairfall Control Shampoo and Conditioner – Review!
Hi everyone, today I am going to discuss my experience with the new Pantene Hairfall Control Shampoo and Conditioner. I might have mentioned already that I was dealing with hair fall this year. I have no idea why I had to deal with such drastic hairfall, probably one of the reasons might be the lifestyle change I made this year that gave me a 10 kg weight loss. I have also been on medication for the past few months after my operation in January. Anyhow, I was searching for haircare products to stop hairfall. I recently came across the Pantene Hairfall shampoo and conditioner. I took the 14 day challenge with them on Twitter, here is the product review!
Product: Pantene Hairfall Control Shampoo and Conditioner
Price: 110 INR, 55 INR
Quantity: 180 ml, 90 ml
Claim: Pantene Hair Fall Control makes hair ‘Stronger Inside, Shinier Outside’. It contains Keratin Damage Blockers technology that helps prevent hair breakage caused by damage, resulting in up to 98% less hair fall when used daily. It strengthens hair from root to tip and prevents damage that results in hair breakage.
The new Pantene Pro-V Hair Fall Control Shampoo and Conditioner come in white plastic bottles with gold flip top lids. Conditioner bottle needs to be stored upside down. The packaging is the same as their standard shampoo and conditioner packaging.
The shampoo and conditioner are white in color and have a creamy consistency. Both of them smell fruity sweet to me. The scent is not subtle but I do not mind it. The shampoo lathers well and I used it by mixing it with 20 ml of water before pouring the mixture on my wet hair.
I keep spreading it all over my scalp and hair and wash it off with a plenty of water. I follow that up with the conditioner to the length of my hair, leaving the scalp. I wash it off thoroughly after 5 minutes. I then run a towel through my hair to take off the excess water and leave my hair to air dry.
Doing this over for a few washes made me notice a considerable reduction in hair fall. I am also trying to incorporate more protein in my diet to get healthy hair. I think both of these factors helped me.
I will continue using this shampoo and conditioner until the hairfall is completely under control. Of course, a little hairfall (upto 100 hair strands per day) is natural and not something anyone needs to worry about.
