Memebox Super Luckybox #11 – Unboxing, Review, Photos, Video

I am super excited today to do the unboxing of my second ever Memebox, the Super Luckybox #11. Luckybox usually contain favorites from previous Memebox release, while a Super box contains full-size products so a Super Luckybox contains Full-size Membox favorites. So this one could contain 5-7 full-sized items featured in any of the boxes from the Memebox Global #1 to the last released Cutie Pie Marzia 2. For Memebox regulars, this Luckybox may carry repeats but since I have not got many Memeboxes until now, I was pumped to grab some favorites. This box did have a Spoiler – Too Cool For School McGirly Good Morning Rice Wash Set. And as I mentioned in my previous Memebox unboxing post, I really want to try out more Too Cool for School products. With that introduction, let’s jump into the unboxing of Memebox Luckybox #11!
NOTE: Memebox have restocked this box including many others.

Memebox Super Lucky box #11 REVIEW

What Memebox has to say about the SUPER LUCKYBOX #11:

We’re back with a Super Luckybox #11! Packed with only the best-selling and top-rated beauty goodies in all of K-Beauty history, this box will surely make you a Memebox believer! If you’re feeling lucky, take this chance to get in our biggest beauty hits!

The Super Luckybox #11 comes with 6 full-sized items and two of them come directly from the CutiePieMarzia 2 box  – TheYeon Jeju Hallabong Energy Mild All-in-One Serum and Revecen Face Control Foundation. I will be reviewing each of these products separately in the coming few weeks but in this post, I will be giving my first impression reviews in addition to the unboxing protocol that I follow!

Too Cool for School McGirly Good Morning Rice Wash

too cool for school powder face wash
Too Cool for School McGirly Good Morning Rise Wash set – 10 packs

Quantity: 2 g * 10 ea
Price: 6$
Description: Formulated with fermented rice bran, oatmeal, black tree fungus, and portulaca extracts, this McGirly Good Morning Rice Wash provides rich nutrition and amino acids to sagging and dehydrated skin. A simple 10 second cleansing session with this rice wash is all you need to replenish, firm, and brighten up the complexion!
How to use: Pour one of the 2 g packets into 600 ml of water. Blend it in well and pat it gently all
over face as the last step to your average cleansing routine.

First Impression review: I am quite excited to get another Too Cool for School product. I am really into skincare products so it is exciting to get something new and I have not yet tried the Powder face washes. I was planning on getting the Etude House Baking Powder Powder wash but am totally content trying this one out. From the “Directions of Use” I am guessing this is not a cleansing product! But hey, I’d love some brightening action for my skin!

TheYeon Jeju Hallabong Energy Mild All-in-One Serum

TheYeon skincare serum
TheYeon Jeju Hallabong Energy Mild All-in-One Serum

Quantity: 100 ml
Price: 20$
Description: TheYeon’s Jeju Hallabong series boosts its organic formula made from the ‘Hallabong’ which is a special type of orange cultivated only in the Jeju Island and best loved for bursting with vitamin C and super sweet & tasty juiciness. Infused with
other Jeju-born organic ingredients such as kiwi, broccoli, and aloe vera, this Energy Mild All-In-One Serum works to replenish, soften, and protect the skin.
How to use: Apply the serum evenly over your face and pat it in for full absorbance. It can be used both morning and night.

First Impression review: Anything from Jeju is my instant favorite and this serum gets brownie points for being citrus flavoured! (Lemon is my first favorite followed by orange in terms of citrus scents). I have sniffed and already tried it once. This is quite thicker than the Youngwoosa Geen tea Seed Essence I received (and reviewed) from my first Memebox. This is easier to apply on the face using finger tips and feels very relaxing and calming (probably due to orange extracts). This comes in a clear plastic bottle with a pump which makes this travel-friendly, hygienic and convenient to use.

Mise en Scene Perfect Repair Treatment Pack

korean hair mask
Mise En Scene Perfect Repair Treatment Mask

Quantity: 180 ml
Price: $ 16
Description: A 2-step hair care – shampoo and rinse – isn’t enough as the weather becomes chillier and drier. Twice a week, use this nourishing Perfect Repair Treatment Pack to deliver deep nutrition and repair and protect damaged hair ends.
How to use: After shampooing, apply the treatment pack throughout your hair and rinse off after 2~3 minutes.

First Impression review: I had seen and heard of this brand when I was in Korea. I have used their shampoo and conditioner travel sets before. There was nothing spectacular about those products to write about so I am kind of “Meh” about this. I am currently using some Tresemme products so I will give this a go after I use them up. This is quite a big bottle and smells nice (in a hair-perfume kinda way)

Dr. G Beyond Young Bling Bling Cream

Dr. G Korean brand bb cream
Dr. G Bling Bling Cream

Quantity: 45ml
Price: $24
Description: Dr.G BB cream coats thinly over skin and leaves a silky soft texture and a radiant glow that does not darken or melt down as the day goes on. While a blend of hyaluronic acid and rose extracts hydrate and rejuvenate the dryness, sage leaf extracts control excessive sebum secretion which help maintain flawless silkiness of the skin. It only comes in a single skin tone which means it offers a natural coverage and a tone brightening effect suitable for all fair and Asian skin.

First Impression review: Another brand that I had been wanting to try while staying in Korea! I got to try Dr. Jart+ but never quite got to pick up anything from Dr. G. Getting this BB cream is a bit of a bitter sweet experience for me because I get to try something from a brand I had heard about but never tried, however, I have not had very good experience with one-shade-fits-all BB creams. This one has a medium sun protection and claims to add glow so I am not totally disappointed. Of course this has moved on top of my to-try-and-review list.

SoyBio+ Fermented Lumpoule

soy bio ampoule
Sshabav Soy BIO+ Fermented Lumpoule

Quantity: 5ml * 2ea (Full size – 5 ml * 14 ea)
Price: $ 170
Description: This “Lumpoule” is a word combining two words – ‘lump’ and ‘ampoule’ – and is basically a facial ampoule made from real Korean fermented soy bean lump. It’ll work to prevent formation of fine lines and wrinkles and also brighten up your overall complexion.
How to use: After toner application, apply 2~3 drops of the ampoule on your face and pat it in for full absorbance.

First Impression review: Besides the weird name – Lumpoule – which is totally not cool, if I am being completely honest here, I should mention that I feel a bit disappointed! This Super Luckybox should contain full-size products and this one is not. There are 2 ampoule (lumpoule) bottles in this pack while the full-size actually contains 14! I understand that it costs 170$ and is not practical to be sent in a Memebox worth 23$ but then why send it in the first place? I hope I do not like this product actually. Of course I am going to test it out starting tomorrow before starting on TheYeon’s Serum.

Revecen Face Control Foundation #002 Violet

color control foundation
Revecen Face Control Foundation

Quantity: 17 g
Price: $22
Description: This unique Face Control Foundation works to cover up skin imperfections and control dull, yellow skin tone for a more refined, evenly balanced, and healthier looking finish to with base makeup. Plus, it contains natural preservatives such as green tea extracts and magnolia extracts, and thus gentle and suitable for all skin types.
How to use: Use a makeup sponge or your finger to apply the hard-type foundation evenly over your face. Make sure to pat it in for full absorbance.

First Impression review: This is one of those products that shocked me when I saw it. And trust me it is not easy for any product to do so because I have probably seen it all, especially in South Korea (with Bee Venom extracts, Snail mucin extract, Placenta masks etc.). I am totally familiar with color correcting products, and am acquainted with the Color Wheel but I had not idea why this one baffled me for a moment. It is purple in color (#002 Violet) and had a creamy texture, I have no idea what I am going to do with it. It does not help that I have not heard of this brand much either. I will still use it as a base or something 😉

Super Luckybox #11 – Unboxing

Overall Review of Super LUCKYBOX #11

I am really excited to try out the Too Cool for School McGirly Good Morning Rice Wash, TheYeon’s Jeju Hallabong Energy Mild All-in-one Serum and the Dr. G Bling Bling cream. I think I might also enjoy the Soy BIO+ Lumpoules (no matter how hard I try to not like it). I feel like the Mise En Scene Perfect Repair Treatment is a filler in this box while Revecen Face Control Foundation is not meant for medium skintones like mine. With a total value of 112$ worth of products, the Memebox Super Luckybox #11 (worth 23$) is definitely worth trying especially if you are a Korean beauty junkie like me!
