We got a boradband connection from KT olleh last month and received a gift card of 50000 KRW in mail this month. I decided to use to expand my MAC eyeshadow collection. I only had two – Carbon and Star Violet. So now I have a total of 5 MAC eyeshadows – MAC Carbon (Matte), Star Violet (Frost), Woodwinked (Veluxe Pearl), Sketch (Velvet), Cranberry (Frost).

MAC eyeshadows are considered the best in the market and they have a huge collection to choose from. Till 3 years ago, these were handful of MAC eyeshadows in the Indian metropolitans but I didn’t have a MAC store around me so I never got a chance to own MAC. But now I have five and I have tried to have the colors that I can wear regularly.
I plan to build my 15 shadow palette but the palette is not available in Seoul MAC outlets and neither do they sell eyeshadows without the packaging so I will have to de-pot these when I go back to India and create my palette.
So anyway. I think MAC eyeshadows are a bit expensive in Seoul as each single costs 24000 KRW (~22.5$). I can get on in India for 900 INR.
Woodwinked – I bough this because I really like eyeshadows with pearl finish. I have plenty of white and silver eyeshadows, this is my first legit golden eyeshadow and I am already in love. It look beautiful alone or even in a simple smokey eye.
Sketch – I bought this purely for the choice of creating a smokey eye with a color other than black or brown. I also think it is a versatile color – looks taupe without light but catches light and looks plum!
Cranberry – I really like wearing a dark eyeshadow color when I am too lazy to do a smokey eye. I think this is one of the least talked about shades on MAC. But I really liked it and hope to a get a good use out of it.
I am very excited to use these and can’t wait to have a full 15-eyeshadow palette! What are your favorite MAC eyeshadows?
