Has it ever happened to you that you wanted something for a long time and then you gave up on it and then one day it landed in your lap? Well that is how I got my L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate. Sort of.

I went out with my husband for dinner on his birthday yesterday. We bought a wallet for him (as a gift from me). He is a bit picky and I hate giving surprises so I had him pick it up. Of course I chose it but he had to approve and that’s when I bought it. There was sometime to kill before we headed for dinner so we popped into The Galleria at the Apgujeongrodeo station.
I had been there twice but only roamed in the left-hand side area, this time we decided to check out the right hand side. They had Chantecaille, L’occitance, Shiseido, SK II counters and Dior, Chanel, Ferregamo etc stores! I had wanted L’occitane products for so long but somehow never got a chance to have them so I was a bit hesitant to check out their display (don;t know why).
The executive there was very warm and nice, she started suggesting things and handing over hand creams to try. I sheepishly told her I had too many hand creams so she gave me a Shea Butter Body Cream. I liked it but started looking for more on my own and saw a very elegant glass bottle (very expensive candle-like packaging) and tried it. It was amazing. My husband must have guessed my thoughts (that rarely happens) and bought it right away.
And that is how I ended up with one of the most expensive and luxurious product in my collection – L’occitance Almond Milk Concentrate.
It is supposed to be firming to the skin, preventing wrinkles and also moisturize without sticky residue. I applied it at night on my arms and hands before sleeping and I in love!!!
I plan to try out their hand creams and body scrubs now. Their whole Almond Enchantment collection is on my wishlist now! I will review it in a week or so when I know exactly how good I feel about it!
