LASplash cosmetics released a range of liquid lipsticks a couple of months ago. The range is called Lip Couture and there are 12 shades in the permanent range while 5 in the limited edition collection. In India, the range is available on the Fab Bag online store (details below). I received the LA Splash Cosmetics Lip Couture in Forbidden in my February Fab Bag. I have been using it in a couple of ways for the past few weeks and here is my detailed review!

Review: The LASplash Cosmetics released these shades recently and I think many brands are coming out with liquid lipsticks these days especially in Matte form. I have dry skin and dry lips so I am always a little biased towards glowing skin and lip glosses. But I just loved the shade, Forbidden, I received from the LASplash Cosmetics in my February FabBag.
LA Splash Cosmetics Lip Couture comes in a clear plastic packaging with gold accents. I always like seeing a lipstick/gloss shade from the packaging itself so I appreciate this little detail. It comes with a slim and long doe foot applicator that makes it easy to spread the liquid lipstick onto the lips.

The lipstick itself is pretty opaque and sets to a matte finish soon after application. The consistency is also perfect as it is not too thick that it is difficult to apply and not too thin that it feathers out the lips. This Barbie Pink color is the boldest pink I have in my collection at the moment and I am loving it. The Lip Couture liquid lipsticks are waterproof and smudge-proof when dry. The color lasts 4-5 hours without fading but I feel that I need to moisturize my lips once after 2-3 hours. These also need to be removed with an oil-based makeup remover or the LA Splash Cosmetics Shea Butter Lip Couture remover. I have also used lip scrub a couple of times to remove this lipstick and it works fine! I have not noticed any extra dryness on lips after using this product specifically.
I like to use liquid lipsticks in two ways – Full On color, Slight tint. So here are the FOTDs with all the details:

I loved this particular shade I received from the LASplash Lip Couture range and when I looked up online for the other shades available in this range, I found some more shades I would like to try. I also loved that I could use this shade in two ways making it work for a simple as well as a dramatic look. I am satisfied with the lasting power of the product as well.
