I love beauty subscription boxes, it is my one of my only ways to gather samples of products. I used to get loads of samples in Korea as gifts with purchase but since that does not happen here in India, I depend upon beauty boxes to provide me deluxe sized samples for travel and trial purposes. My Envy Box is one of my favorite beauty subscription service in India and a few months ago, I received the Kronokare Provencal Lavender Smoothening Operator Body lotion in it. I kept for sometime and recently finished it up. Here is a detailed review!

What makes a beauty junkie happy? Not sure about others, but I love body lotions that are fast- absorbing, hydrating, smell nice and are made of quality ingredients. This body lotion has the ingredient list that makes me smile – it has lavender extract as the (first) ingredient; is paraben, SLS and fragrance free. However, it does contain Mineral oil and added color.
Of course I pay attention to the packaging too. As mentioned in my Detoxifying Massage Oil review post, Kronokare use recyclable plastic for their packaging which makes me like them even more. The packaging though simple is functional and of course good for the environment.
Kronokare Provencal Lavender body lotion comes in a see-through dark brown plastic bottle with black flip cap. The body lotion itself is white and has a medium consistency (not very thick or thin). It smells of Lavender (duh?) and is fast absorbing. I loved using it in summer.
The body lotion is however not very hydrating for my dry skin in the harsh Delhi winter. I like Lavender scent so I enjoyed using this and the smell lasted for a few hours. I think the effect of the body lotion lasts upto 5 hours but it may vary since I have dry skin. This one worked better for me in summer but only thick body butters work for me in winters.

Recommend: Yes. I would recommend this body lotion to people who like Lavender scent and have normal to oily skin.
Repurchase: Yes. I enjoyed using this body lotion and it is perfect for me for the summer months!
