Katrina Kaif “Kala Chashma” Inspired Makeup Tutorial
Hi everyone! Today I am here with a new celebrity inspired makeup look tutorial. Actually I have only done a handful in the past, I plan to do a few more in the future since they are so much fun. “Kala Chashma” was one of my favorite song to dance on whilst I was in college. I like the revamped version too especially with the fun visuals and choreography but I like the original song far better (not a huge fan of rap). So anyway, the song asks for the protagonists to wear black sunglasses so it was a bit difficult to guess what Katrina’s actual eye makeup was. However, just the couple of clips showing her looking down gave me a few ideas and I have based the look on that. I hope you enjoy this makeup tutorial!
Products used for the Kala Chashma Makeup look:
The Body Shop Moisture Foundation SPF15
Shiseido Spotscover Foundation (as concealer)
Chambor Wet & Dry Powder Foundation
MAC Brule (eyeshadow)
MAC Star Violet (eyeshadow)
MAC Sketch (eyeshadow)
Lakme Eyeconic kajal (black)
Fairydrops the Platinum Waterproof mascara
Etude House Glam Ratio Highlighter
Lancome L’Absolu Rouge 352 (as blush)
NYX Push Up Br* Eyebrow pencil
Kiss Beauty Highlighter and Contour palette
Natio Smoothie Lip Colour Crayon – Petal

This makeup look is very close to Katrina Kaif’s signature look with dewy skin, n*de pink glossy lips and smoky eye! So let’s get started with the Katrina Kaif Makeup look!
Step 1: Use a primer all over the eye area and apply a neutral shade to even out the skintone. I used MAC Brule eyeshadow for this purpose.
Step 2: Use a light pink shade all over the eyelid. I used a pin with golden undertones for this look – MAC Star Violet.
Step 3: Next use a plum/violet shade in the outer V area and blend it in the crease slightly. I used MAC Sketch for this purpose.
Step 4: Apply a pencil liner on the eyes and then smudge it using a brush. A slight wing on the outer V looks really good for this look. Then apply the kajal on the waterline and underneath it. Smudge that as well for a smoky look. I love using my Lakme Eyeconic Kajal for this!
Step 5: Curl your lashes and apply a couple of coats of mascara. I used my FairyDrops Platinum Waterproof mascara!
Step 6: Define the brows and highlight the browbone. My NYX Push Up Br* Eyerbrow pencil is perfect for this look.
Step 7: Mix highlighter with your foundation or use a dewy finish foundation. Katrina has that peaches and cream complexion which is hard to mimic! I used my The Body Shop Moisture Foundation mixed with Etude House Golden Ratio highlighter.
Step 8: Use a good concealer to hide the dark circles. I used my heavy duty concealer – Shiseido Spotscover Foundation. It is the best concealer I have!
Step 9: Katrina has chiseled features so I used contour to define my features. I used the contour shade from my Kiss Beauty Highlighter & Contour palette.
Step 10: Katrina loves to wear peachy pink blush. So I applied a pink lipstick as my cream blush. I blended it in for a natural look! I used the Lancome L’Absolu Rouge in 352. I use this lipstick more as a blush than lipstick!
Step 11: Highlight the cheek bones! I used my Etude House Glam Ratio highlighter. Since we are going for dewy skin, this is not mandatory but I felt like doing it!
Step 12: Even out the lips using a compact and then use a n*de pink gloss! I like using tinted lip balms so I chose the shade Petal from the Natio Smoothie Lip Colour Crayon range. It has a nice light pink color and glossy finish. I think it worked well with the whole look.
Step 13: Put on a green bindi and “Kala Chashma” (black sunglasses) to complete the look. I am wearing my (most used) sunglasses from Vogue Eyewear!
That is it! I loved how this look turned out and had a lot of fun taking photos. Of course I am keeping the goofiest ones for myself but there are a couple of them on my Instagram for you to enjoy. I hope you liked this look, if you did please share this post and video with others. In case you want me to recreate other makeup looks, do leave your requests in the comment below!
