Hi everyone, so I received my FabBag yesterday. I have had great luck with FabBag in the past few months so I was expecting something spectacular from the July 2016 FabBag as well. I opened it immediately. There are 4 products in this month’s bag and I got to choose one out of those. So here is what came in my July Fab Bag!

Sugar Stroke of Genius Heavy duty Kohl – 01 Back to Black

Price: 499 INR
Claim: SUGAR Stroke of Genius Heavy-Duty Kohl is a waterproof Kohl pencil that can add pretty to your eyes in a single swipe. Its wax-based formula spreads evenly and lasts for up to 8 hours. Not just that, it comes with a free sharpener to ensure your eye makeup is always on point.
The SUGAR Stroke of Genius Heavy Duty Kohl is the only makeup product I received in this month’s FabBag. I got to choose it from a list of other SUGAR cosmetics products. There were Sugar Matte As Hell Crayons, Sugar It’s A-pout Time Vivid lipsticks in addition to this kohl pencil. Since I have already tried the lip products (reviews linked above) I decided to go for the kajal. It looks pretty creamy and is intensely pigmented.

Neemly Bengal Gram Exfoliator

Price: 425 INR
Claim: A complete herbal cleanser and polisher, this invigorating face and body wrap is packed with traditional herbal ingredients that promote healthy and fresh skin.
Quantity: 50 g
I received a SkinYoga Coffee Body Scrub in last month’s FabBag. I like the fuss-free travel-friendly packaging but I feel like there is too little of a product considering this is a full size product. The ingredients in this one are all herbal and perfect for a body wrap. I may get a few uses out of it if I use this just for my face but if I use it as a body wrap, I think I will finish this in one go. It would be still be an interesting product to use this month. I will update you with the review soon!

Pep Moisture Velvet Shampoo

Price: 119 INR
Claim: Formulated with a blend of oat protein milk, the extra nourishing formula is designed to restore moisture and give deep root nourishment. After a few uses, your strands will be softer and more manageable – which means you can spend less time fussing over your hair
Quantity: 50 ml
It took me a long time to realize that this is a full size product. I felt like it is a deluxe size sample since we are used to seing 100 ml or more bottles of shampoo. With Oat Protein milk, this sounds like an interesting shampoo and toally geared towards dry and unmanageable hair like mine. It smells amazing (added fragrance) and I am really excited to try out this product. Am I being too greedy or would it have been nice to have the conditioner from the same range too?

Johara Instant Radiance Scrub

Price: 500 INR
Claim: Formulated with ultra-fine walnut extract and a blend of lemon peel extract and neem oil, it gently sloughs off dull skin layers, removes impurities and promotes natural cell exfoliation. The Cococin CG extract (from green, tender coconut water) rejuvenates the skin leaving it feeling clean, smooth and toned for a radiant complexion.
Quantity: 100g
Never heard of this brand either but a radiance face scrub sounds enticing. I have no idea why there are two exfoliaters in one bag but I think the Neemly one is better for the body. That might work better as a body wrap + exfoliator while this is a gentle scrub for the face. As usual, I will report back with the review!

Overall, I am pleased with my July FabBag even though it did not wow me like the previous couple of editions of the FabBag. The total worth of the products is about 1200 INR for the price of 599 INR! The SUGAR makeup product in this month’s bag redeems the price of the bag. And there are 3 more interesting products to try. One thing to note here is that the FabBag 3,6 and 12 month subscribers have the option to choose the SUGAR product they receive.
