I love wearing bold eyeliner and a red lipstick is my favorite way to make a statement. Combine these two and you get a classic look which never goes out of style. Recently I reviewed the L’Oreal Paris Cannes makeup collection, I got the L’Oreal Paris Moist Matte lipstick in Lincoln Rose and the L’Oreal Paris Super Liner Gel Intenza waterproof liner in Diamond Black in this collection amongst other shades. I tried various looks with all the products and this particular look is one of the days when I was in no mood of wearing a smokey eye. Hope you like it!

I usually wear liners without shimmer and lipsticks with a bit of creaminess so this is a new look since this one has a shimmer-y eyeliner and Matte lips 🙂 I am always afraid of doing anything to my hair since it has not been in the best of health for the past few years but I decided to not do my usual ponytail. I am not a huge of center parting either but I think if I do it after along time, I am able to tolerate it. And when I was out running errands wearing this makeup look, I felt comfortable (my fashion funda)!
I also wore this lipstick to my friends house one day. She did not say anything about the lipstick the whole day but in the evening when my lipstick had faded (while leaving a beautiful rusty stain behind) she said she liked how my lipstick looked after fading, which made my opinion that much stronger that not everyone is a fan of red or even bold lips! I am. Are you?
