I reviewed the Forest Essentials Indian Rose Absolute Hair Cleanser yesterday and since I used the conditioner with it, I think it was fitting that I reviewed the conditioner immediately next!
The Forest Essentials Indian Rose Absolute Hair Conditioner comes in a see-through plastic bottle with a gold lid, similar to that of the conditioner. And the packaging is travel-friendly. As I mentioned in my shampoo review, I face the challenge of squeezing out the product once I am halfway through since the conditioner (and shampoo) are viscous and take sometime to come out. The bottle is not squeezable so it takes a few moments to get adequate amount on my palm for use. I have tried storing these upside-down (no leakages to report) but the product still comes out at its own will and speed (ha!)
Despite repeating myself thrice already, I will not shy away from praising the delicious rose scent of this conditioner that I like so much. This whole range of Indian Rose Absolute products has impressed me with the aroma a lot. And I am not a rose (scent) person!
The conditioner is creamy and has the consistency of a face lotion. It is moisturizing to the hair and quite suitable for regular use. I feel like it does not weigh the hair down by being to creamy or oily, and I am able to rinse it off well easily. I have had problems with conditioner residue in the past so this is important to me.
I have dry hair which is soft to touch but is not easy to tame. So I really like gentle conditioners that add softness and shine to my hair. I liked this hair conditioner better than the shampoo and will consider using it with other shampoos/hair cleansers!
