Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Organic Fruit Facial Scrub REVIEW
I have been searching for a good facial scrub for a long time. Exfoliation is something that I try to do only once a week. I have dry skin and it gets irritated if I use a facial scrub too often. Since I was not getting good results from normal drugstore products, I decided to look to Ayurveda. Thankfully I stumbled upon the Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Organic Fruit Facial Scrub. I have had it for a while so I thought of sharing my review with all of you today!

Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Organic Fruit Facial Scrub Ingredients:
Purified Rose Water 10%, Fermented Date Pulp 5%, Fermented Peach Pulp 5%, Fermented Apricot Pulp 5%, Sweet Almond Crushed Seeds 4%, Crushed Aprict Seeds 3%, Organic Honey 2.5%, Bael Powder 2%, Glycerin 1%, Vitamin E 0.5%, Base Q.S.
Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Organic Fruit Facial Scrub (Fal Yukt Gharshan Lep) comes in a clear plastic tub with gold twist open lid. The packaging is quite sturdy and beautiful but bulky. It comes with a plastic stopper so leakages are easily prevented but I would still not consider this travel-friendly (because of the size).
Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Organic Fruit Facial Scrub is dark brown in color and has different sized scrub granules. It smells of fresh fruits and in the most natural way possible. So if you are not into fruity scents, this may not be the scrub for you. But if you are ok with it, this scrub is very good for the skin. It contains fermented fruit pulps making it very gentle and nourishing to the skin.
Since this a tub packaging, there can be hygiene issues so take the product out with a spatula. It has a thick consistency so I like to wet my hands before applying this to my face. It is then easy to spread all over the face. I like to massage for a minute or two to reach every nook and corner of my face concentrating on the my T zone.
I then splash my face with water to remove it all. It leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. It does not irritate my skin or leave it dry. It works as a great weekly skin cleanup for me. I would not recommend it for daily use.
It has different sized scrub particles so that might be a concern for some people. I usually prefer fine scrub particles.
Note: This product contains organic and fermented ingredients, it has to be used within 6 months of opening it (it expires in 2 years from the date of manufacture)

Overall, the Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Organic Fruit Facial Scrub has worked really well for me. It contains fermented fruit pulps, honey, apricot kernel oil etc. so it is good for the skin. It is not a very pocket-friendly face exfoliater however, I feel like it is worth the money it costs. I highly recommend it!

I’ve tried a sample of this scrub. It felt a little coarse on my skin. But in the end I loved how my skin felt.
Nice product but expensive , nicely reviewed .
