Hi everyone, if you have been following this blog for a while, you already know about my love for Korean and Japanese makeup products. I tried a lot of them when I was in South Korea. It has been a bit tough to get my hands on Korean and Japanese products in India, however, I have been shopping online to grab as many as I can. In the past, I had fallen in love with the FairyDrops the Platinum Film Type Mascara. That is why I wanted to try out the FairyDrops the Platinum Waterproof mascara. Here is the detailed review for you:

The FairyDrops Platinum Waterproof Mascara comes in a metallic pink tube packaging and black print. It is an attractive packaging and looks quite similar to the packaging of the FairyDrops the Platinum Mascara except that the latter comes in golden packaging.
The mascara wand is similar to that of the Platinum mascara too. It is easy to apply thanks to the unique (and probably patented) bobble wand design. Being a waterproof formula, this mascara holds the eyelash curl really well. And the formula is neither too wet nor too dry.
I see this more as lengthening and curl-holding mascara. It does not really add much volume to the lashes. Since I have sparse and straight lashes, I feel that stronghold mascara like this is the best option for me. It makes my eyes look open and lashes longer than they actually are.
I did not notice any flakiness with this waterproof mascara since that can be an issue with waterproof mascara. And like all waterproof mascaras, this one is a bit of a challenge to remove using ordinary makeup removers. I can only get this off using a good cleaning oil or balm, something that is emollient enough to dissolve it and remove it.
I am definitely going to use it in the monsoon as well as summer.

This is supposed to be a volumizing mascara but I am not sure that I have seen much of that property of this mascara. However, it is a fantastic lengthening and curling mascara. It does stays put and holds the curl all day and can be easily removed using an oil-based cleanser. I would highly recommend this mascara to everyone!
