Etude House Princess Etoinette Lipstick and Dear Girls Moisturizer haul

It’s the holiday season and the beauty stores here in Korea are running crazy sales. Missha and The Face Shop have 50% off sale running till 15th December. Other brands also have sales but these two are the ones that I have checked out thoroughly. There was a big sale at Etude House last month and as of now, there is no sale there. I expect some special discounts around Christmas. Still I went into the Etude House store to check out the Part 2 of the Etude House Princess Etoinette collection launched this year.
I did not buy anything last year from this collection (my mistake) but I am loving it now. The packaging is so beautiful and princess-y, I just can’t get over it! So I wanted to buy something from this collection.
A new Etude House outlet opened close to my home recently (I can already feel my wallet getting lighter!) So I went in there to check our the Etoinette collection. I was just browsing the aisles when a man started talking to me. He turned out to be the owner of the store and he spoke English very fluently, unlike many other people here.
And he sort of sold me the Etude House Dear Girl face moisturizer. And of course I bought the Princess Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips lipstick (PRD302).

I would not have bought or even tried the Dear Girls Be Clear Moisturizer because I do ot like whitening products. I do not remember ever thinking about using them despite the “skin-whitening/lightening” craze in India. I might be considered fair in India but I think I have wheatish complexion. So anyway, when the store owner handed me the msoiturizer to try, I had no option but to tr it on my hand.
It had a thin consistency and had a snow-white appearance. I feared it would look very chalky on my skin but it blended right in and did brighten up my skin. I compared my hands and there was a difference. It has a very brightening effect which I am guessing is because of the SPF. This is not very greasy which a lot of creams for winter tend to be. So I decided to buy it, it was priced at 6000 KRW.
Of course I had to buy the Princess Etoinette lipstick, that’s what I went there for. it was pretty expensive at 13000 KRW but I just loved the packaging and the feel of it so much that I decided to splurge.

The Princess Etoinette lipsticks released this year (6 of them) are available in two textures (3 each). Normal and extra moisturizing. I went for the smooth and extra moisturizing red (PRD302). Red because it the holiday season and extra moisturizing because my lips are drying already!
My friend who has oily skin also bought the Dear girls Be Clear Moisturizer. I expect this to work better for her as this is not very creamy. It is very water-y and runny. I hope it will go well for my dry skin too. Stay tuned for the review!
