Etude House Pink Skull Collection – Products, Price, Photos, Details!

Hi everyone, 2016 is progressing fast and we are officially in fall/autumn. It is still very hot and humid in Delhi but I am going to ignore that and dream about Korean weather this time of the year. The wind is cool and crisp in the morning and evening while the days are still warm. I loved flaunting my light jackets when I was in Korea in autumn! Etude House has just launched their new collection that I am assuming is their Fall/Autumn collection by seeing the colors included in the range.
Etude House launches new makeup collections all the time, maybe every couple of months. The last one was the Berry Delicious collection I think. Then they launched the Play 101 Blending pencils separately. Being out of South Korea now, I find it a bit tough to keep a tab on all of the new launches from Etude House. The Pink Skull makeup collection caught my eyes specifically because of the 9-color eyeshadow palettes.

I always look out for eyeshadow palette from Etude House. They are usually good in terms of color payoff and most palette come with shades in different textures making it a versatile makeup product. The colors they do are also a good mix of neutral and colorful. I was eyeing both of the palettes, however, I am more drawn towards the #2 Funky Skull with its deeper shades. The #1 Lovely Skull has more muted colors. The palette seems to have a mix of matte, satin-finish and glitter shades.

Asian makeup brands do amazing mascaras. I have loved 2 of the 3 Etude House mascaras I have tried. I have some of my favorite mascaras from Japanese brands. I think Etude House has re-packaged their Curl Fix mascara from the Lash Perm range for this collection. I have sparse, straight and thin lashes which look better with lengthening mascara than volumizing mascara. This mascara is also on my wishlist.

Etude House is making tall claims with the 24-hour technology and it seems like a good fit for me. My lashes do not hold the curl very well so this might be a great choice of mascara for me. I like that it comes in two shades – black and brown (named Funky Pinky Brown). I have dark hair and dark lashes so brown mascara may look weird on me. I am sure many others would love to try out the brown shade. if I try out this mascara, I am going with the black shade. I do not think this is a new mascara as well. I think it is just Lash Perm Curl Fix Mascara re-packaged for the Etude House Pink Skull collection. I cannot get over the polka dots on the packaging…haha!

If gradient or ombre lips are your thing, Etude House Twin Shot Lipstint is the product for you. It comes with two shades of liquid mousse lip tint. The unique thing about this product is that there is only one applicator for both of the shades. I have one from their regular range, I am not a huge fan of it though. The shade pumpkin shot seems to be more wearable than skull shot.

I am loving both of the rich cream blusher shades in the Etude House Pink Skull collection. They are two of the most flattering beautiful blush shades. I want to pick both of them. I just cannot choose one out of the two of them. They are so gorgeous and I hope they are richly pigmented and give a good color payoff. I have tried Etude House cream blushes before, I liked them so probably these are going to be good too.

An Etude House collection usually includes a fragrance and the Pink Skull collection is no exception. The packaging is nice, however, I would have liked to know the notes of the fragrance. I have tried perfumes from Etude House before and liked them. It would be nice to know at least the category the perfume belongs to – floral, fruits, musky, etc. Anyhow, I am sure the reviews will come up soon on the web. I am already trying out something from Fresh so I am not looking for new perfumes.

There are also 5 Pink Skull “Play Nail” nail paints. They are priced at 3.90 USD each. These nail paints are numbered from 1 to 5 but do not have labels on the Etude House global website. The nail paints do have names listed on their Korean website (in Korean) but I cannot translate them 🙁

There is also a mention of Etude House Pink Skull Drawing Show Easygraphy Brush Liner in the Funky Skull Pinky makeup kit. I could not locate it anywhere else on the website. I will update you about it when I find more information.
