Monthly Subscription services are becoming more and more popular in India now. I never got a chance to try anything out since I was not in India for almost 2 years and during this time I was busy experimenting with Korean products. But I ordered MY ENVY BOX and the FAB BAG in May since I was supposed to come back to India. My plan got postponed and my Envy Box and Fab bag for May waited for a month in my hometown. So this month, I got My ENVY BOX again and am ready with a review. Here is what I think about the June MY Envy Box!
What is My Envy Box?
My Envy Box is a luxury Beauty sampling service. Monthly subscription costs 850 INR. Sign for monthly, quarterly, yearly basis to My Envy Box!
My Envy Box – June Box contents:
Thalgo Freshness Exfoliator
SkinYoga Coconut Sea Salt Foot Scrub
Nina Ricci La Tentation de Nina
Kronokare Provencal Lavender Body Lotion
Innisfree Eco Nail Color Pro #15
I have been following a few Indian blogs and most of them raved about MyEnvyBox most of the time. So it was my first preference when I decided to start reviewing Sampling services. Some of the previous boxes have been really impressive, based upon reviews at other Indian Beauty Blogs, so I got one for myself too.
Since I have both the May and June boxes, I think I liked the May box better. The packaging is as nice as it always has been, but this month’s Lavender shade is extra beautiful. Size-wise, I liked the June Box better but one of the dampener was that my Nina Ricci perfume came smashed (MyEnvyBox graciously offered to replace it when I mentioned it on my Twitter account).
Brand wise, I do not think Innisfree and SkinYoga products included in the box are luxury products. Plus I have tried a lot of Innisfree products and nail paints are not what I wanted in the first place. So the nail paint (especially the shade) is my least favorite product in the box.
I liked the SkinYoga foot scrub; the size is good, the texture looks good and it smells nice too! I have never used Kronokare products so a nice travel size body loton is a good start. Thalgo products have been on my wishlist for quite some time so an exfoliator is a good start! I like Nina Ricci perfumes so I am sure I would have enjoyed using the travel size.
All in all, I am not too keen on this month’s My Envy Box. I expect a lot more when it comes to luxury products but their responsiveness to queries and attention to details has won my heart. I do plan on getting the July Box as well!
