Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream – Review, Ingredients, Price
I have mentioned umpteen times on my blog that I have dry skin. And I am always on the lookout for a product that is moisturizing to the skin. I am growing older (well is anyone ever growing younger?) so I look for something with anti-ageing properties too. Quite some time ago, I heard about a product called the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin cream. it is supposed to be one of the most hydrating creams ever. Curious, I picked up the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin starter kit which contains both the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream and the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid. I have put both of these products to a good use this winter and here is my detailed review of the Ceramidin Cream!
Product: Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream
Claim: Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. It has an enriched texture that hydrates the skin for a long-lasting moisture. It transforms rough and dull skin into a hydrated healthy glowing skin!

Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream Ingredients:
Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin comes in an metal squeeze tube with a plastic cap. The packaging is pretty basic for this expensive cream. It smells herbal but not in a yucky kind of way. The cream has a rich but light texture. I have not seen anything like this before. From what I read about this cream, Ceramides are created in the laboratory. Ceramides help in plumping up of the skin in addition to soothing the dry skin.
I have dry skin which needs rich moiturizing creams to stay presentable in winter. I picked up this cream from Dr. Jart+ simply because I felt like it would help my skin face winter. And it did!
The Ceramidin cream contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) so I only use this at night. This warning has also been mentioned on the cardborad packaging. AHAs can increase the chance of sunburn so I avoided using this cream during the day. I used both the Ceramidin Liquid (serum) and Ceramidin Cream in my night skincare routine.
Both of these have a peculiar texture and even out the skin beautifully. They are rich in texture but not greasy or heavy. The skin feels so soft after applying this cream and it stays hydrated for hours at a stretch. I always woke up with soft and supple skin. On the days I missed using this product, my skin felt so dull! This is the product I would repurchase every winter since it might be a bit heavy (and out of budget) all through the year.

Overall, I am quite please with how the Dr. Jart Ceramidin cream has worked for me. I think it would work great for people with mature and ageing skin since it reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. And this cream can suit all skintypes especially as a night treatment since it is not oily or heavy. I highly recommend it. Had it been a bit more pocket-friendly and in a better packaging (since the squeeze tube is a bit tight), I would have given it a 5/5. The review of the Ceramidin Liquid is also coming soon on the blog!
