Hi everyone, how are you? I know it has been so many days since I last posted on the blog. Just as an update, I moved house within Delhi and also recovered from low Iron and flu in these days. There were a few days here and there when I could have posted but chose not to. Anyway, I intend to be back to blogging full time again. So today I decided to share unboxing and review of the X-Mas Party All Night Fab Bag for the month of December.
This time I had the option of selecting the bag that I wanted and one product from a list. For the bag, I chose the Champagne and Gold bag and for product, I picked up the Kama Ayurveda Pure Rosewater. The rest of the products were picked by the FabBag team.

SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick

Claim: This highly pigmented crayon lipstick gives a long lasting matte finish so you can gorge on all those Christmas goodies without worrying about constant reapplication.

I have heard about the brand SUGAR before but this is the first time I am getting to try out their products. The color I received, 03 Poison Ivy, is a deep plum that is totally winter appropriate. The texture is pretty creamy and it has a good colour payoff. I will be giving it a go in the coming few days before reviewing it separately on the blog. Price wise, it is a bit expensive considering other established drugstore brands which are selling their lip crayons at a lower price point (Lakme Lip Pout). I also received a sharpener with this crayon which is a total plus in my opinion. I prefer retractable packaging for liners and lipsticks but if they come with their own sharpener, I have high tolerance for the mechanical packaging as well!

Kronokare The Frizz Kiss Cooling Explosion Lip Balm

Claim: Keep your lips primed with this cooling lip balm, enriched with peppermint and Shea butter that gives you petal soft pout!

I have used and reviewed a few products from Kronokare before, coincidentally they came in previous editions of FabBag. And I enjoyed using their products so I have high expectations from this lip balm. In any case, since it is winter I need multiple lip balms all around the house to keep my lips hydrated. I have been trying it. It is cooling and refreshing, I think I would have enjoyed it more in summer. Detailed review will up on the blog soon.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution

Claim: Bioderma Sensibio H2O micelle solution (Hypoallergenic) gently cleanses face and eyes and is effective in removing water-resistant make-up.

I have already used Bioderma Sensibio H2O before and also reviewed it on the blog. It was in rage back in 2013 and I could not resists picking it up. Since I have to try out new products all the time, I totally forgot all about it even though I had plans of repurchasing it. I received a sample size in this month’s FabBag so it would be handy while travelling!

Kama Ayurveda Pure Rosewater

Claim: Kama rosewater is a good non-alcoholic refresher that helps remove the residue of the previous cleansing procedures such as removing of makeup. It refines the pores and tones the skin making it ready for moisturizing treatment.

Saving the best for last, I had heard so much about the Kama Ayurveda Pure Rosewater so when I saw this on the list, I chose it instantly. I have dry skin so for a long time I refrained from using toners thinking they would dry out my skin even more. But actually recently I realized we all need gentle toners to tighten pores and remove excessive oil from the skin. Ever since then I have been on the lookout for gentle toners. Two of my favorites are Mamonde Rose Water and Innisfree Rose Clear Skin. But I am sure that Kama Ayurveda Pure Rosewater will be a good alternative to these. I have already added it to my skincare and will be reviewing on the blog in the coming days.

Overall I think December FabBag brought a sweet deal for me. I got to try out one new brand, received a winter appropriate lipstick (with sharpener), got a lip balm which is always handy all year round and grabbed a products from my wishlist (Kama Ayurveda Rosewater). I was a bit disappointed to see the Lever Ayush Therapy Suvarna Poshak Cream missing from my FabBag but I am sure it was an honest mistake on their part. I have written to them and hope to hear back soon. I will reviewing all the products from this FabBag soon (except for the Bioderma Sensibio which I have already reviewed). Stay tuned!
