Office Lookbook | Plus Size Fashion | Western Office Wear | 8 Outfits

Hi everyone, I have been sharing a lot of outfit posts with you these days. And even though I do not consider myself as an Indian fashion blogger, I am loving it. I posted my Indian Office Wear outfits last week so here are a few western outfits I wear on weekdays to my office. Since I work with a startup, I do not have to follow a dress code which is why I am wearing a pair of jeans in my outfits. For formal office wear, I would love to don a pair of trousers!
Note: Bear in mind that I work 9 hours a day and travel in public transport (for more than 3 hours per day) so my outfits need to be comfortable and modest as well.
Since I do not have to follow a formal dress code, I make the best of it by wearing casual clothes. I just try to but them together with office-appropriate accessories. I have a very classic sense of style which means you will see more modest silhouettes, cuts and necklines in my outfits. I hope you like these outfits too!

Outfit 1: ONLY pink top, Levi’s Jeans

Top: ONLY, Jeans: Levi’s 310, Ballet Flats: Westside, Statement necklace: American Swan

Top: ONLY

Jeans: Levi’s 310

Ballet Flats: Westside

Statement necklace: American Swan

I love ruffled tops but because of my apple shaped body, arms are the only places I can tolerate them. This pink blouse from ONLY is one of my favourites. I have worn it a lot in the past few months. It is ready to be retired soon so I am going to wear it a lot in the coming weeks too. Levi’s 311 is one of the most well-fitting jeans I have ever worn. They are comfortable and I can wear them all day long without feeling restricted (which curvy girls usually do, or at least I used to). These sparkly pink ballet flats are also my favourite and you will see them more than once in this post itself. I have worn them to death but I am sure I will get some more use out of it so they will rest in my closet until spring.

Outfit 2: Zara White Jeggings, Limeroad Yellow Top

Top: Limeroad, Jeggings: Zara, Ballet flats: Tresmode, Statement Necklace: Westside, Peach Backpack: Random (Sector 22 Chandigarh)
Sunglasses: Vogue Eyewear

Yellow Top: Limeroad
White Jeggings: Zara
Ballet flats: Tresmode
Statement Necklace: Westside
Peach Backpack: Random (Sector 22 Chandigarh)
Sunglasses: Vogue Eyewear

I know my hair is a mess (it IS 99.9999 % of the time) so we are going to ignore it!
It may not appear so but these white jeggings from Zara are very comfortable. They are stretchy and are embellished with studs near the calves (on the sides). I love them a lot but being white, they are pretty difficult to maintain. I wear them occasionally and have had them for over 3 years now. This Yellow Limeroad top is the only piece of clothing in yellow in my outfit. I feel like yellow is not my colour but this top appeals to me. It hugs me a lot but I still refuse to give it away. These Tresmode flats have been worn and washed hundreds of times. These are about to give up on me so I am letting them go soon. They match most of my outfits which is why I wore them so much. I always like footwear from Tresmode!

Outfit 3: Being Human Green Tee, Westside Jeggings

Top: Being Human, Jeggings: Westside, Sandals: Reliance Trends, Peach Backpack: Random (Sector 22 Chandigarh)

Top: Being Human
Blue Jeggings: Westside
Sandals: Reliance Trends
Peach Backpack: Random (Sector 22 Chandigarh)

This is a pretty simple outfit and very comfortable. I got this Being Human Tee at 50% off. I am wearing socks here since I was dealing with cracked heels at this point and was using medication to treat them. And I do apply a tilak in the morning (which I remove for photos 😉 at times). I got this peach backpack for 500 INR from Sector 22 Chandigarh and have been taking it to my office every day. Everyone asks me about it even in the bus so I have declared it as a winner in my wardrobe already! You can check out more photos of it on my Instagram.

Outfit 4: ONLY top, H&M jeggings

Top: ONLY, Jeggings: H&M, Ballet Flats: Westside

Houndstooth Print Top: ONLY

Powder Pink Jeggings: H&M

Ballet Flats: Westside

Necklace: Random (South Korea)

This houndstooth print monochrome top is very close to my heart. Not just in this photo ;), but because of the reason that it was a part of my first ever outfit post on this blog. I started fashion blogging, or rather just sharing outfit posts, last year. It has been quite a journey and I still introduce myself as a beauty blogger. Anyhow. These powder pink jeggings came to me from H&M (North Country mall, Mohali) at 50% off. I have worn them with solid colours but also loved them with this printed top. I think they add balance and girliness to this outfit. Of course, the matchy necklace and ballet flats bring the whole look together.

Outfit 5: Limeroad Navy Blue Top, Westside Jeggings

Top: Limeroad, Jeggings: Westside, Sandals: Eliza Donatein, Peach Backpack: Random (Sector 22 Chandigarh), Studded Silver hoops: S.I.X (Sweden)

 Navy Blue Lace Top: Limeroad

Jeggings: Westside

Blue Pointy Flats: Eliza Donatein

Peach Backpack: Random (Sector 22 Chandigarh)

Studded Silver hoops: S.I.X (Sweden)

Lace is such a girly fabric but I am always afraid of it. This is one of the few outfits that I bought with lace detailing. This navy top has colour coordinating lace sleeves that I really love. I wanted to add a different colour to this outfit but I wanted to go for a solid colour top and bottom look. What do you think?

Outfit 6: Zara and H&M Monochrome outfit

H&M and Zara monochrome outfit
T shirt: H&M, Black Leggings: Zara, Black Sandals: Reliance trends, Black (Laptop bag) Backpack: Samsonite

Collared White T-shirt: H&M

Black Leggings: Zara

Black (Laptop bag) Backpack: Samsonite

Collared tops have come and gone in trend but I am still donning it with great enthusiasm. Black and White always look so good together which is why you will see me in a lot of monochrome outfits on a daily basis. These Zara leggings are very comfortable to wear. The detailing at the bottom is not visible but it looks really good in person. It is something that I can even sleep in.

Outfit 7:

Top: Fig (Reliance trends), Jeans: Levi’s, Ballet Flats: Westside, Black (Laptop bag) Backpack: Samsonite, Scarf: Westside

Top: Fig (Reliance trends)

Jeans: Levi’s

Ballet Flats: Westside

Black (Laptop bag) Backpack: Samsonite

Scarf: Westside

Shades: Vogue Eyewear

Another simple outfit that features blue on blue. I picked up this top simply because it was one of the two Pantone colour(s) of the year 2016. The flowy fabric meant that I did not have to iron it before wearing it, making it my top choice on the days I had little time to get ready. It went well with both jeans and jeggings. Here I have paired it with a pair of jeans and sparkly pink ballet flats of mine. This scarf was my favourite one and saved me from the sun and dust on many days during the commute. Sadly, I lost it a few days ago. Do you get attached to your things? I usually do not but was really sad when I lost this multi-coloured pastel scarf 🙁

Outfit 8: Yellow and Blue – Limeroad, Westside

Top: Limeroad, Jeggings: Westside, Sandals: Guess, Pink Handbag: Limeroad

Top: Limeroad, Jeggings: Westside, Sandals: Guess, Pink Handbag: Limeroad

I have made an exception for this top and featured it twice even though I did not want to. The only reason for that is, I wanted to show my Guess sandals and Limeroad pink handbag! If you ever see me in public, this is something I would be wearing (maybe not the sandals, I am a ballet-flats kinda gal).
Dainty jewelry from Swarovsky, Accessorize, S.I.X and Mixxo is what I wore on a daily basis. I love wearing a lot of bracelets and a watch on my left hand, leaving the right one bare. I will share a few pics of the accessories soon too. Hope you enjoyed reading this post

That is it about my Curvy Fashion Office Lookbook Part 2 (Read Part 1 here). I am going to share my winter outfits on my Instagram (Follow me) and the blog as well so make sure you follow me there. Talk to you soon!
