I love using exfoliating products in the shower. I have a normal to dry skin for the most part but my skin becomes too dry in the winter months. So I usually try to exfoliate dead skin off in winter no more than once a week. I use a gentle scrub for my face and body twice a week in summer.
I usually use face scrubs for the body but this time I went ahead and bought an exfoliating shower gel – Cottage Gentle Exfoliating Shower Gel. I bought it in Vanilla fragrance. The brand is available in South Korea, parts of Europe and South America. I am not sure but I think it’s a French brand belonging to The Panther Group.

The shower gel has very small granules for a gentle scrub. But I think it provides a good option paired with loofah for squeaky clean skin. The vanilla fragrance does not smell artificially sweet but it as sweet as Vanilla is deemed to be so it may not be for everyone. The good news is that the shower scrubs come in variations like Kiwi, Caramel and Violet!
I am yet to use it in my shower as I am using up my other bath products but I did feel the texture of it. I have high expectations and I’ll let you know my proper review once I use it a few times and see a difference in my skin.
The brand also offers – Shower creams named Cottage Milk Shower, Shower Oils named Cottage Oil Shower – two main things I’m interested in trying from this brand.
I am really curious about “Cottage Oil Shower” as I’m a little lazy in moisturizing my body everyday maybe this product can help me skip that step by providing enough moisture! In South Korea, Cottage products can be found at all OliveYoung stores.
