If you have been following this blog for a while, you might know that I am a huge The Body Shop fan. The proof of this love is evident in this post! So when I found out The Body Shop released a new range of bath products, I knew I had to get it! So from the Wild Argan Oil collection, I ended up getting the Massage soap, Body Butter and the Shower Gel. I have been using all 3 of these days rotating them with a few other products I am trying out so here is a review of the Wild Argan Oil Body Butter!

The Wild Argan Oil body butter comes in a gold plastic tub with twist open lid, a standard TBS packaging for body butters. The whole Wild Argan Oil collection smells divine and this body butter is no exception. The scent does not last very long and fades away nicely.

I was expecting the same standard from this body butter as the earlier ones I have tried before and I was not disappointed. The body butter though thick, glides well onto the skin and seeps into the skin giving moisture. This is not the most fast-absorbing product though.
I always like supporting The Body Shop because they are cruelty-free, make amazing products and believe in Fair Trade. This product is also a result of the Community Fair Trade Argan Oil sourced from Morocco!
I like the smell, texture and consistency of this product but I am a bit underwhelmed since this contains added color. I never mind these issues in skincare products that are going to be on the skin for a while like Shower gel, cleanser but for moisturizer which stays on the skin for a long time (and even seeps in), I do not appreciate added colors. And I cannot attest to the 24 hour claim but the hydration does last through the day. I found the ingredient list on The Body Shop USA website; I hope TBS India also start listing ingredients on their website!
I will be reviewing other products I purchased from this line soon! I had picked up – Wild Argan Oil Shower Gel, Wild Argan Oil Massage soap in addition to this body butter.

Since I have dry skin, I enjoy using heavy body creams and this Wild Argan body butter is no exception. So if you have normal to oily skin, you may not enjoy using this as much as I so you can check out the body sorbet, body milks and body puree by The Body Shop in various flavours!
