The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Facial Wash – Review
Hi everyone, I have been testing out and reviewing so many The Body Shop products these days. I have recently reviewed The Body Shop Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate and The Body Shop Aloe Calming Toner. I had bought a couple of shower gels and The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Facial Wash in addition to the eye cream and toner. I have used all three of these in the past few months so I thought I’d share my review of the The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Facial Wash!

The BodyShop Aloe Gentle Facial Wash comes in a sea foam green plastic bottle and a clear plastic lid. The bottle has a pump dispenser and this is a foaming face wash. So when you pump out the face wash, foam comes out. The packaging is really sturdy and can be traveled with.
I like using gentle face wash since my (dry) skin gets irritated or dehydrated if I use harsh products. Of course as a beauty blogger I have to review various kinds of products, some that I may not pick for myself. But if I pick stuff for daily use for myself, I go for gentle skin care products. The Aloe range from The Body Shop is really gentle and works well for dry/sensitive skin.

This facial cleanser is mild on the skin but is effective in removing dirt and grime from the skin. I do not remove my makeup with a face wash so I cannot comment if this one will work well for makeup removal. This is a fragrance-free product so it is suitable for sensitive skin.
This face wash also does not contain SLS, the usual foaming agent in soaps but it contains a milder version – Sodium Cocoamphoacetate. So it works well for dry skin. In fact I think this face wash is suitable for all skin types.
My skin did not feel dry or irritated after using this face wash. I have used it in winter as well as summer so I think it is an effective face cleanser for all seasons (and skintypes).

Overall I am quite pleased with The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Facial Wash. It is not very affordable but it lasts for months and is a good value for money. Since one pump produces enough foam for one wash. This is a soap and fragrance free product and I would highly recommend it. People with sensitive skin can use it without hesitation since it is mild and effective. This is the only face wash I have used till now that I will consider repurchasing in the future!
