April FabBag – Review, Unboxing, Price, Details!

I had been waiting for my April FabBag and it arrived yesterday. I was planning to shoot an unboxing video but I have not been in the best of moods (lost my 3 month old niece) so decided to just write the review here on the blog. I am doing much better than I was last week and there is just something about time and healing that I am starting to believe in. Anyway, moving on to other things, this month the theme is “The Nine to 9” so the products included in the April 2015 Fab Bag are the ones that we need every single day. So let’s just jump right into it!

I am sucker for citrus scents and this body wash to me smells of a delicious Khus Sherbet. I know it is odd but I love it and since this is a sulphate and paraben-free concoction, I reckon this is going to be a favorite bath product of mine!

Malavara Lime Vetiver Body Lotion

Even though the Body Wash smells of the Khus Sherbet or something, the body wash is a complete lime meets Vetiver scent. I like it. No harsh preservatives or parabens make these a good one in my book but the price does concern me. I have high hopes for such a luxury bath and body product.

I had never come across City Color products before but this blush has made me check them out. The blush quad has beautiful shades which can be used as one (se swatch 2) or individually (swatch 1). The topmost shade is a bit more powder-y than the other 3 but I think it will work great as a highlight.
Coral is my favorite blush for spring and summer so I am glad I got this shade out of the 6 from the brand.

I have heard and read so many good things about Iraya products that it was about time I tried something from them. So my search for an eye cream/gel has been put on hold now that I have gotten this amazing eye gel. I tried it when I took some out to take photos of the gel, it felt really cooling and soothing to the under eye area. I hope I end up liking this since it has a great ingredient list and is priced well.

Denman Hair Brush

Denman Volumizing Hair Brush

Product: Denman Hair Brush
Claim: FreeFlow volumizing brush with 9 rows of widely spaced, smooth nylon pins set into a half round rubber pad to help create volume and movement in the hair for a softer, fuller look. Also ideal for detangling thicker, coarser hair types.
Price: 475 INR
* Full size product (duh!)
The Denman hair brush is the only thing I was not very keen on from this FabBag. I have nothing against the hair brush or this brand per say but I am more into combs. Another thing that I think hold me back from loving this volumizing hair brush is that is plastic, even the base containing the bristles. I have used a few hair brushes in the past and I am not sure if I will end up liking this. But I did not have any hair brushes at the moment so I will be giving this a go anyway!
Fabbag april 2015 review
April 2015 FabBag

I always say that subscription services are a great way to try new brands and products without breaking your budget and the surprise factor always adds excitement to the whole process. My theory has worked again for me as I have gotten introduced to 4 brands through the April Fabbag – Malavara, Iraya, City Color and Denman. I am more into combs than hair brushes so the Denman Hair brush may not become my favorite anytime soon but  I am super excited to try out all the other products! I have decided to try out all of these products from tomorrow onwards so you can expect the reviews by next weekend!
I am happy with my April FabBag and so would happily recommend it to you. And as a gift to you, here is a chance to save 10% off your order! Order your April FabBag!
